@Akali; How about replacing the heal on the Q with bonus dmg

Pro: EWQ - Combo does more dmg helps CSing (I am thinking about doubling the bonus dmg for minions)

Con: Less sustain in lane, which will be compsated when she gets gunblade

I don't think that this is a problem in her kit. Her sustain is fine, and even her damage is moderately fine because she can't kill you as quickly as other assassins, nor can she do so as reliably.

Her biggest changes need to happen to W. It needs to cost energy, not restore it, and it needs to have that ridiculous obscure mechanic removed so that she can be visible and targetable while under turrets.

I know that the W is quite problematic but I dont see Riot changing this ability because It is suppose to be the unique thing about her (I always thought being a mixed dmg assassin was the key unique part about her up until her rework xD)

I wanted to make a suggestion for a change that might help improving the experience of Akali player and their opponets without touching the 'unique' part of her.

The shroud in an of itself is unique. It doesn't need the obscure or the no energy cost/energy replenishment to be unique, especially since attacking with her triggered passive ALSO recharges her energy.

I don't think obscure needs to be removed, she just needs to have a larger delay on being obscured after she reveals herself. I think the shroud itself is interesting, just... doesn't punish her enough if she makes a mistake. Or rather, it prevents her from making mistakes. (also, just to be clear, I agree her energy regen mechanic needs to change)

No, Obscure needs to be removed. That kind of mechanic should have never been in the game to begin with.

See, I disagree. Untargetable is not a problem, IMO, as long as a person has windows of vulnerability that are sufficient... and the ability has to have a cost. Right now, this has neither...

No, untargetability is fine, such as with Kayn, Xayah, Elise, Zhonya's, etc. Being completely invisible, even to turrets, shits on core game tenants in a bad way. Turrets are supposed to see EVERYTHING. That kind of mechanic breaks a fundamental part of the game that should never have been broken.

She's not invisible though. You can actually see where in the shroud she is as she moves. You just can't TARGET her. You can still hit her with non-targeted abilities.

Turrets are targeted attacks, so can't do anything.

Except turrets can’t target people in hourglass or when champions use untargetable abilities. This is nothing new, just a combination of invisibility with it.

A lot of assassins have abilities they can use to turret dive, hell, it’s a big aspect of them (hiding under your turret below half health vs an assassin has always been a bad idea). Fizz, Leblanc, Zed, etc, all have ways to dive the turret and get away unscathed.

Akali doesn’t if you take that out of her W, unless you count her ult. But then we’d be back to Akali who got bullied pre6 because she didn’t have ways to properly kill her target.

You're arguing someone who has a brief period moment of untargetability versus someone like Akali who can basically set up a campfire and roast marshmallows under an enemy turret. I get that turret diving is a thing and that assassins do it to land kills. But literally every example you mentioned has an extremely limited moment of ignoring or deflecting turret aggro before they need to react or get out of range.

Akali's Shroud takes that extremely limited moment and turns it up to 11. It shouldn't be in the game.

And I am finding it incredibly hard to believe that you're claiming that Akali is going to be bullied pre-level 6 because she can't assassinate you under your own turret. I'm gonna call BS on that, because there's a lot of champions in this game who can't murder you under your own turret and they do just fine. It's a strong tool in the lane already, and gives you ample opportunity to screw around with your opponents who can't see you in the Shroud. Removing the protection it offers her from turrets is not going damage her gameplay.

She wouldn’t get bullied because she can’t kill you under turret. She’d be getting bullied for similar reasons she was before she got her rework.

I agree, shroud lasts too long for what it offers I honestly don’t think she should be able to increase its duration by going back into it.

And what would have been wrong if it was just plain invisibility like Kai'sa or Vayne have? There is nothing that merited that she needed to have Obscured instead of Invisibility. Invisibility already isn't revealed by pink wards, nor does damaging any champion who is stealthed make them targetable - it makes them shimmer so you can see where they were. There is no reason whatsoever Obscured needed to be in the game. It only exists to screw over turret fire, and that's pretty much it. In every other way, it operates exactly like regular Invisibility.

Except it's more confined to one area whereas most people with invisibility or camo don't have a range limit like that.

Except we're not talking about Camo, because that follows different rules than other Invisibility. Compared to regular old invisibility, Akali's Shroud is pretty much identical. It has no business disregarding how turrets interact with invisibility because it's not necessary.

A super simple fix to this is to allow her initial cast of her Shroud briefly - briefly - make her untargetable if you must have a way for her to tower dive. Then while she's in her Shroud, it's the exact same invisibility as like Shaco, Vayne, or Kai'Sa has. That way, she can still use it to break turret aggro without having the entire Obscured bullshit existing.
