Dragon and the Snowball Situation

After seeing the IEM tournament and listening some casters mention about dragon not being as important because the games are more snowbally and is hard to reach that fifth dragon goal, I started to think what to do about that. this is my idea:

Remove one tier so the team can reach the Aspect of the Dragon buff at four dragons and move the damage to towers/buildings and damage to minions into a single buff ( sieging buff) so the order goes like this:

  1. AP/AD buff
  2. Movement buff
  3. Sieging buff
  4. Aspect of the dragon

Well this idea for making a more contested objective during this moment of snowball games

Let see what you guys think about it TY

I agree. Matches aren't running up to their old 45 minute to an hour range. Cutting out one dragon buff for a faster aspect or a shortened spawn timer on the dragon could also work. Up vote to make the dragon more relevant again!!

Games are shorter because people are feeding. You used to be able to cough up 10 deaths a game and be fine. This season you go more than 5 deaths and you're feeding. And many people just don't get that. Real games where teams are under 1-2 deaths per player at mid or end make dragon hugely important.

I don't get why people post threads like this. Riot should respond to the shorter game length by FIXING IT, not by balancing other things around it. Anything else they change based on shorter game length will just mean it will be screwed up when they DO get the game length and hyper-snowballing back where it should be. That applies just as much to dragon as it does to late game scaling champs like KogMaw.
