Can we finally make Quinn reliable?
Everything mentioned in the video is (sadly) true.
is a very fun champion to play. However, she is a complete mess at the moment. Bugs here and there, weird passive application and target selection and many drawbacks to her early game for a marksman (markswoman?) with a mediocre late game. Just to mention a few of her flaws;
- Her blind usually applies after the target fires an autoattack. Try it to see for yourself. Agro Gromp and then blind him. Watch carefully and you will notice that his first attack will often deal damage even though you applied the Blind before his attack fired.
- The Harrier timer is just terrible. Very often Valor chooses to not mark anything for as long as 2 seconds after the CD is over for no reason. Also the range od the passive is weird. Try attacking dragon from behind the river gate with someone else agroing it so that you can stay at max range. Valor will not mark it if you don't Vault. Also, just make the passive CD independent of Vault's Harrier mark. It is very frustrating to wait for the passive to go off CD before you apply the mark with Vault just because you would otherwise sacrifice a ton of DPS.
- About Vault... If you don't make
untargetable while vaulting at least make her immune to disables for a split second. It is just infuriating when you get thrown out of position while vaulting especially if you take into account how predictable Quinn and Valor are. - And now about Tag Team. There is so much going on with this ability. While the skill as an idea is great there are so many factors that make it weak. First, Quinn risks too much when using it as an offensive spell and the CD is just too long to use it as an escape or mobility spell. Early CD is just rediculous. Also, Valor is just too vaulnerable. He is just as tanky as
(not at all) and has no way to escape after he gap closes. Essentially Quinn can't use her ultimate during a teamfight for any reason apart from escaping except if she's disgustingly fed. The mana cost is just wrong and should be removed just like every other shapeshifting ability and Quinn and Valor should have seperate CDs. Finally, the damage, while decent early, just keeps falling off as the game progresses. Most executes deal % damage, true damage or have insane scalings (Hello
,
,
) while
has none of those. If % damage is impossible for her at least buff the scaling as you level up the ability.
At the moment
has no clear place in the game. With tanks dominating every game Quinn falls of even harder as she has no way of dealing with tanky opponents. Her burst is unreliable and her ultimate is either too risky or too expensive to use. For a champion with so much risk in her kit she isn't rewarding enough. I believe
has been forgotten for too long and something should be made to make her unique assassin-marksman identity shine.
Sincerely, a noob Quinn enthusiast.
