A More Aggresive Starting Item For Mundo

All of you are going to hate me for this, but I think this is a good idea.

I'm gonna make this short and sweet so I don't get hated on too much.

Whenever I make something "Off-Meta", EVERYONE hates on me for doing it.

Take Grasp Of The Undying as your main rune for tankiness.

Your secondary rune is optional. I take Precision.

Start:

Buy:

Buy counter boots:

Buy your first counter item:

NOTE: Make sure all of the items you buy have health. Also, try to stay away from mana items.

You could also buy more damage if you are feeling spicy:

Buy titanic hydra:

Itemize (Build tankiness)

This is a very brief idea. Tell me if you like it. Tell me what you would build on Mundo.

Considering you can auto reset twice with titanic and Mundo's E it's not entirely bad.

Yes well despite what people say Neeko is they still use her as support. Guess its best to figure out what's good on our own.

while effective for damage, mundo is more about health and countering his opponent's damage type

Mundo does not have much to offer, so he has to play safe unless the opponent is gutsy enough to try to face him head to head or a jungling gank happens

if you want aggression, there are not many choices, but perhaps you should change Doran's to a ruby so you can build into Titanic faster, but his preferences are on defense

if you want a simple option, Cull could be used to increase your gold and a minor amount for your offense

Think about it like this. You are a tank that has wave clear and does true damage (along with damage). That sounds amazing.

Problem with Conquerer Mundo is that conquerer's lane phase is actually very nerfed and is very weak compared to grasp in the early game. It can work, but grasp is just a much better option simply because Mundo's not the strongest early game character, though his E max can throw people off with his free item 1038 at low HP

That's why you go grasp, because it's a stronger early game keystone that lets you trade early otherwise people just all in you and murder you because you are waiting for a mid/late game build that never happens.

Like I said conqueror mundo is a fun build, but better players won't let you get away with it.

Conquerer is better than Grasp for trades. If you are going to lose trades early, you are going to lose regardless of what runes you take.

Not true whatsoever. Ask any higher ELO top laner which rune is better early game, they will say grasp Grasp however falls off, conqueror outscales.

? Wits end giving your Magic resist compared to Black Cleaver being health. Both aren't "tank" they are just damage items that make you tanky. Black Cleaver just isn't good on Mundo simply because he's almost all magic damage and prefers having attack speed over flat AD since his E gives him basically a free BF sword

Build is absolutely fine, though the black cleaver is pretty troll especially since Mundo does mostly magic damage.

I'd say Mundo's best damage options are item 3748 item 3091 item 3046 item 3053 ...All decent on him in different situations, though you are generally better off going full tank.

That's why black clever is good. You get health and damage. It also goes well with Titanic hydra.

Isn't titanic obvious and already popular? As for BC, bad idea, Trinity is much better for mundo. He does alot magic damage ven with hydra and has no way to stack it besides AAs. Trinity just adds more mobillity and alot more dps with the same CDR for only 150 hp less and a bit more gold. Also, if you want to go that path, take conqueror, bit worse in the early trades, but you're all-ins post 6 and you're lategame will be much more scary than with grasp. The Minor runes in precision also work great on a more agressive mundo.
