Few things:

1. Learn. If you died in certain ways, try to understand why, but just dont repeat the situation you were in.
2. map awareness. Dont see a laner? see bot lane pushed? you are in inner turret and there is no vision? act accordingly.
3. all your team is at base and there is no vision across the map? you think they do baron? dont go! that person will die at 99% of the time, which mean they will get baron and fight in a 4v5 situation.
4. learn all possible positions and play snowbally champs that doesnt depend on your ally to get rolling.
5. watch streams or all informations about all the mechanics of said champs.
6. Value obj and be proactive with pings, dont think how nice your full build would be, think about how you can end the game and do it!
7. develop a good team fight sense. is it better to poke? to go in? who to focus? should you defend your adc? should you team fight at all?
8. Know also when you arent skilled enough to move up. Sometimes to accept it is to grow. Then you will realise how improved you have gotten and you will move up.
9. make suggestions politely, dont ask reasons from ppl about mistakes. just suggest possibilities.
10. CS like a God.
11. play the vision war. encourage your team to understand the value of upgraded trinket
12. know ALL champions, all their abilities, all their dmg (generally speaking) and all the items, when to use them, why and on whom?
