Will I Play Better With Lower Ping?

Do I lose games because of my ping, or because I suck? Generally speaking in my games people play with less than 50 ping, and I feel like my 90 ping is the reason why I lose my games.

If ping isn't the issue then why do I suck? I can cs good, and my mechanics are on point. I feel like I suck because I don't have enough knowledge yet?

It depends. I say if your ping is constant, it shouldn't affect you too much because it is what you are used to. If it spikes though, then it is definitely the ping. Also you would probably play better at a lower ping just because you can see things faster and have more time to make a decision.

90 Ping for me is like a few lag bits every minute and i live in australia, so i doubt it is the ping.. just my opinion

Lower ping will improve your gameplay exponentially.

But u would have to be an idiot to think 90 ping is holding you back. 90 ping is great the problems start at 120 to 160

You will be fine as long as it remains consistent.

I play at 150-250 ping and i never felt like my losses were because of that. I am a Silver shitter, but thats just because i suck at this game.

What is your FPS? Do you freeze at all in big fights? Because that might be the issue. Playing with a stable FPS greatly improved my games when i got my new PC.

Plenty of people are willing to coach other players. Get someone to watch your matches.

Watching streams can also help, if you pay attention to what they do differently than you.

I have a feeling you arent as good as you THINK you are. Also you probably suffer from indecisive decision making (like everyone in low elo). You should first learn to recognize item spikes. Knowing when you can trade with your opponent. Thats key. Once you start having a grasp on that you will start to understand exactly WHEN you can secure a kill safely which will help IMMENSELY. Also when you have an advantage its VERY important to PRESS IT. That means pushin to the tower so they lose CS ( or atleast make it harder for them get them). Also you can harass them under tower and set up a dive. You can rotate to help other lanes or set a pick on the enemy jungler.

In the NA we all rose through lvl 1-30 with the "Lets play safe and not die at all attitude." while this is the main goal of the game and a pretty easy way to win games...its lead to this timid streak in alot of the NA players. which attributes to the "NA can't close out games" thing. Which is true.

TLDR; if you really do have good cs and mechanics then you are probably suffering from not pushing your advantage and dragging games out for no reason.

I normally play on 40-50 ping, but when the servers went down this week and they switched to some temporary ones or something I had around 120 ping.

...It wasn't that bad to be honest, I don't know why so many people on the east coast complain that it's unplayable.
