Is skarner any good now or do other jungle tanks still out shine him such as ?
And if yes or no pls say why?

Skarner is an absolute great jungler, his Q for AOE da19mage while beating on your target, stun as his passive, shield and increased movement speed with his W, slow with his E and his ult is over powered when you grab someone and bring the enemy to your whole team. I build skarner full tank for his ult to take a beating sometimes and to feed the lanes some kills. I do build item 3025 after items item 3709 item 3269 item 3143 item 3065 item 3083 to have the perma slow late game. I build pure tank because I believe in the tank meta this season and it works. Most teams usually have 2-3 tank champs. Usually end up winning if they don't lose hard early game.

He is really hard to out run and is great to tower dive with a team mate to secure a kill because of his W. You don't see him played much because of having no instant gap closing or devastating ranged CC like Sejuani Maokai Gragas Sion

But he is not any worse than those champs. You just have to play smart with him, like know when to go in, knowing your team will follow up on your actions.

My stats show high assists, the first link I did go 13-1-19, second one shows 4-1-21.

But if you do get ahead and fed it wouldn't hurt to rush item 3025

I wouldn't build Skarner as a tank. I'd get Cinderhulk, but then get Triforce for dueling power, similar to Tiger Udyr.

I like him though I prefer going item 3710 if I am snowballing early game, and take item 3709 as a fall back plan for when behind or more even, much like item 3025 is.

I think he's mediocre if you go full tank he needs at least item 3025 for damage if nothing else and is in a pretty decent spot as long as you aren't planning to go pure tank.

Yeah, he's pretty good. He does different things than those champs. He also has more presence in a team fight. You just can't ignore the Skarner because he does so much dps.
