I FLASH OUT OF AHRI'S CHARM AND HIT HER WITH A 1.3K SHIV AUTO AND ABOUT TO FINISH HER OFF WITH AN ALPHA STRIKE BUT THE BITCH JUST USES ZHONYA'S AND I GET CUCKED BY HER TEAMMATES CAUSE NO RESETS. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN?! WHY IS A RANGED CHAMP THAT ALREADY HAS 3 ADDITIONAL FLASHES, A HUGE SPEED BUFF AND A PRACTICAL STUN ALLOWED TO HAVE 2.5 SECONDS OF INVULNERABILITY? WHAT IS THE COUNTERPLAY TO THAT?

WHY ARE LONG RANGE BURST AND ARTILLERY MAGES LIKE XERATH VELKOZ LUX AND ORIANNA ALLOWED TO BE INVULNERABLE FOR 2.5 SECONDS WHEN THEY ALREADY HAVE SOME FORM OF CC/SELF PEEL AND TEAMMATES TO PEEL FOR THEM? AREN'T SAID MAGES SUPPOSED TO BE SEVERELY PUNISHED IF THEY GET CAUGHT?? NAH JK, JUST PRESS ZHONYA'S AND WAIT FOR DUMBASS GALIO/SHEN TO ULT YOU! SUCH SKILL MUCH PRO.

HOW IN HELL CAN A ONESHOT ASSASSIN KILL A LISSANDRA THAT HAS ZHONYA'S? AREN'T ASSASSINS SUPPSOED TO RAPE SQUISHES? AND AREN'T MAGES SUPPOSED TO BE SQUISHY? RITO, HELLO?!

PLEASE REMOVE item 3026 ANDitem 3157 FROM THE GAME AND EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY!

I agree, remove zhonyas and GA from the game so that squishies wont have any form of counterplay vs assassins and then get oneshot by them with nothing they can do. Seems fair.

It's the job of tanks/supports to keep squishies alive in this situation. If a squishy is caught isolated split pushing or whatever then he DESERVES to get oneshot by assassins without counterplay and without giving their team time to react, since they already missplayed. Unlike adcs most mages can already outplay assassins with their self peels, why give them a lissandra self ult in addition to that?

Zhonya's has a significant cooldown and a limited window of invulnerability. If you're completely shut down by Zhonya's every single time, then either you're bad at assassins/divers or you give up after one time and just say it's impossible.

Instead of salt-posting on the forums about a balanced set of items, why don't you try retreating instead of just standing there waiting around for their allies to come get you? A mage under Zhonya's can't stop you from leaving, go kill someone else, and you'll get more opportunities to kill that squishy later when they don't have Zhonya's.

It sounds like you just stand there and wait for it to end, which is basically just feeding the enemy a free kill.

So, I try to keep calm in most situations on the boards, but here, I don't feel I need to.

So listen up, cause I am gonna learn ya something.

Zhonyas has been the item that mages have been balanced around for a while now, and it Keeps. Getting Nerfed, it lost lots of AP, the active has been nerfed, the build is so annoying to deal with.

And that's just before we even get to use it.

Once we do, it feels nice, it is one of the only two ap items in the game with a primarily defensive ability, giving mages a bit of survivability. Compared to their ad counterparts however, it just feels like crap.

We don't get an on demand cleanse, we get a spell shield that we have to have had 40 seconds of downtime to use, and we can't choose when to use it either.

We also don't get a revive whenever we feel like it, we have to activate an invulnerability that has to be activated, not fun.

Also, the biggest point is, we don't have life steal.

If we want sustain we have to get a hextech item or roa.

If you had just ranted this would be a different story. I'd respect your post and I'd say, "hey, I'm sorry that happened to you, it sounds really frustrating."

Such a biased and manipulative poll alone is enough to make me hate your post. You're not providing people with options, you're asking them to either agree with you or self-deprecate, with no middle ground or fair option.
