Could Predator not Cancel its Channel on Abilities used During it?

I don't like having to wait for the predator channel to be able to use an ability because you might accidentally use a movespeed buff or something else on habit to cancel the channel. It feels rather clunky and annoying and in my opinion there isn't a need for it to cancel unless you take damage from an enemy champion.
