So Ahri's Charm...
As an Ahri Main, can live happily with the whole no more stopping the rock because you blew a kiss at him thing. I actually agree it was kinda BS that I could do that. Good on you for fixing it, it was kinda strange.
However, I would like to note that I find it very annoying that Charm is the only non-Suppression CC that fizzles upon its caster's death (to my knowledge).
So you're telling me that the scary scarecrow that just exploded and is now dead is still absolutely terrifying, but all feelings of lust forced on me by the foxgirl whose death "sfx" are a lot less than a single letter away fades the instant she's dead?
Hell, I think the projectile itself might even fizzle, would have to test.
EDIT: So I'm an idiot. Not only do fears actually release on kill, so do taunts. Charm also does act as an interrupt still (gets an eighth-ish second duration), and still does damage.
The main source of my initial confusion is likely because it is the only autonomous projectile that delivers a taunt/fear/flee/charm, thus it feels off. All other current CC sources of those types are either applied by point click, or by contact with the champion sourcing them. Thus, it lacks the obvious "you died before you hit me" or instant gratification effect.
As for why I didn't think it had an interrupt attached, it's probably Katarina's fault, as charm's normal effect has movement attached, causing Kat to stop winning AND spinning, while I seem to recall she continues to spin on from-death charm. Unfortunately due to how I play, I'm usually either the only one present or the last to die when I still land charm after death, so I've never noticed whether or not she stops winning.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to tweak the UI to make it clear that that is what's happening, 'cause there really is no visual indication that charm did anything but the damage.
It was also brought up that Thresh's hook still stuns if you kill Thresh. If I were to guess, it's because that's a stun, not a charm/flee/fear/taunt, and thus doesn't have the code to catch that the source is dead. This might be a decent topic for another thread to tackle, as it likely should end upon thresh dying.
