The Crystal Scar is Weeping... Dominion Map Update When?

I'm curious if there's any intent by Riot to do a visual update of The Crystal Scar in the near future. It's still in the old art style, and all three other maps in use have been updated or even completely redesigned.

It'd be great to get a little more love to the fun alternate game mode that actually sticks around all year and isn't built around hoping your enemies aren't playing on an account with only good champions for the mode unlocked...

... And would be a nice reward for those of us who stuck around for it in spite of being seemingly abandoned- what with the rampant botting in the mode before lv30 basically making it unplayable in that range.

Kalamanda appears to be retconned. It looks like the new location of the Crystal Scar is Shurima. Skarner's new lore seems to confirm this.

So expect an update with a new Shurima event. Which I believe that hinted their would be another event for Shurima planned on the horizon.

They spruced it up a bit a while back but it was pretty minimal effort. Would be nice for it to get some love

Map updates came by also when significant lore events appear (minus SR, which was always an odd ball).

To put it in the most blunt terms, no one gives a flying frick about Dominion. It's easily the least popular of the game modes. And with so few people playing it, I doubt Riot would bother giving it an update. Frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't been removed already.
