What's with roaming supports?

They'll push mid and take CS from our mid laner and leave bot a 2v1 after 10 minutes. It doesn't matter if I'm winning or losing.

Then the other adc's always have a support who is literally never 2 seconds away from the ADC the entire game.

Why is that?

Because some people understand that the role of support is to support the whole team, not just the adc. Although this backfires when you try to roam and you've got an adc that can't handle a 2v1.
