Surrender used as replacement for Griefing (Assisting enemy team)

At 20 minutes it's become automatic Surrender Vote. At 30 minutes it pops again. 40 same thing. 50. Well, you're now dieing because the surrender vote get in the way or because your trolling teammate gets 4 other players to surrender and you don't have time to vote.

Create a penalty for surrender in ranked. Why join a game if you give player the option to give up? Most of the game isn't going to be diamond or whatever pro games. It's going to be bronze. Where all the mucky stuff happens and gets ignored because it's not making the same cash value as the tournament games.

Either get rid of it, penalize for repeated surrender attempts, or create a better option that doesn't randomly have teams surrender when you're going 30/13/6.

EDIT: BEFORE ANYONE ELSE JUMPS in on my ranking. attempting to derail Try to watch one of my "Veigar wood division" on youtube. I'm BRONZE because I'm bronze. I'll be fine next year. Probably a silver at most.

lmao what about your game when it was 4v5 from the start?

And for real, I would want to surrender too if i were your team mates lol

You basically play support and only support but you never ever bought a sight stone.

good luck getting out of where you are lol

People can be just as trollish on the other side of the coin. Sure, it's frustrating when you're doing well and your team is not, and they choose to surrender and deny you the chance to carry. It's also equally frustrating to be stuck in a game that's been lost since the 10 minute mark because two stubborn/immature players think it's funny to see the other three complain in chat.

This is a lose-lose issue for Riot, because any changes will inevitably infuriate whoever is on the salty side.

i've actually seen the opposite happen. where a duo queue will hold a team hostage by voting no on every attempt to surrender even if the vote is 3/2 which potentiallr creates hour long 4v5 matches where the enemy team is also trolling by refusing to blow up the nexus
