Shen does not feel like Shen anymore

I decided to try Shen again since his rework, as it is still the "feel" of Shen. Now I can't help but feel that the ki sword is just out of place. Yes this ability is cool, but it's not what Shen was supposed to do. His auto-attacks are also downgraded. He went from 2 swords with a satisfying sound to 1 sword and another that he can't even use. The sword literaly is just floating for the entire game, not to mention that it moves to Shen super slowly. I really think Shen needs a rework, but he just got one. Now does Shen need to be reworked or reverted? This is the 3rd champion that Riot has reworked that I really can't play. First it was Sona, which killed her mobility, then it was GP: the fun pirate who could be a support, and now its Shen, the ninja dude who has the weird sword.

Shen does not need a rework again... But I main shen top and yeah he feels extremely weak. His Q damage falls off really fast. And he gets kited so freaking easy.

If shen does not need to be reworked, then what needs to happen? I doubt his numbers are ever going to be touched, and his ult and e CANNOT be touched as it is what makes the champion identity.

They need to do something about his damage... Some ADC's can practically ignore you while you're hitting them. Also his Q takes so long to come back its really annoying.

And his cooldowns are horrible with the energy costs. Its like you're an AP mage you got 1 burst then absolutely nothing after lol.

I think meddler said they would fix shens numbers later. They said it not too long ago dw man

His numbers are bad, but there is no real hope of them getting fixed since the mages are top proirity. Also shen is kind of irrelevant since his rework, which it was not like he was on the decline already. It's not really the numbers; it's kind of that Shen is not longer shen. His energy is 400 for some random reason. His ult is nearly useless since his w has 0 split pushing functionality. Your "combo" isn't really even a combo. E,Q,W is more like E, Q then you take tons of damage then your sword comes so the W can protect you, whereas the old shen was this fighter/tank hybrid which worked in 3 roles. Now he is almost top only. Support and jungle seem to be extremely uncommon.

nah dude hes not THAT bad lol. But yeah i agree with you on some stuff. When you ult you practically lose lane because he has a lot of counters top lane so he is forced to back a lot. When shen ults they just shove top even easier.. I just have a problem with how easy it is to kite him and the damage he outputs to squishies is non existent. I see where you're coming from tho.

I think that identity is important in the problem of solving the issues. Like, where is shen SUPPOSED to go and what is he, a tank, fighter, support, jungler? There is no current support recommendation in the shop. A tank should be kited: that is okay. He isnt supposed to to dmg if he's a tank. He also has like 0 safe ranged abilities which is ok for a tank. If he's a fighter he needs dmg and less of the utility. I have 0 ideas what he needs as a support other than a Q speedup of some sort because that Q, W takes forever to travel to the target location. He also has not been touched for a few patches, so Shen may be forgotten by Riot in terms of changes.

Yep. Shen gets reworked nobody plays him. Poppy gets reworked she goes to Pick/ban and even the announcers saying how poppy is the reason some games are won is pretty sad.

Shen needs his numbers tweaked or make his Q actually hurt. People shouldnt be able to get hit by that and shrug it off.

Shen's kit is harder to use than Poppy's. Poppy has to press a button while Shen has a whole combo that you MUST land or you are kind of useless. This is not mentioning how much better Poppy's kit is. Maybe there is also the female part to the playing because...4chan waifu magikzzzz.

I don't think riot even cared about his champion identity considering they got rid of his Q which was a super unique champion mechanic and was incredible flexible on situations you could use it in.

The resource bar is annoying, but it really isn't an issue. The gameplay is more annoying than anything, besides how TPA shen got downgraded.
