I kinda assumed that was part of her skin.
Like the login animation was of her literally launching her companion in the 2nd frame (at the bad guys). So I kind of just assumed it was an animation in the main skin and the idea was that you launched kiko.
it's really just a companion that sits in her orb only? That seems really lame for a legendary and really kinda makes it boring.
