  1. Indirect nerfs since new runes went live (Aery, Celerity, Scorch, Manaflow Band, Coup de Grace, Sorcery stat bonus AD)

  2. Lethality nerfs hurt him (Dirk - 12 to 10, complete items - 20 to 18)

  3. Hypercarries coming online too quickly (2-3 items at worst)

  4. Support reliant (bad support = you are useless and will be flamed)

  5. Lack of good keystone (Comet is least bad, Fleet is sort of hoping to scale)

  6. You cant bully hypercarries out of lane because interactive laning is kinda forbidden right now.

  7. Assassins and unkillable tanks running around and on a marksman without an escape who struggles to damage them, go figure.

All in all, picking Jhin in botlane on this patch is borderline trolling. If you want to play Jhin, play him mid.

There is a reason his winrate fell from 49% to this since 7.24.

Right now, Jhin himself has way too many issues, some of them are fixable directly, some aren't.

Coming from a Jhin main in platinum. I stopped playing Jhin altogether for now until this ends.

edited a bit

EDIT: Even I Keep It Taco, NA Master Jhin OTP, stopped queueing botlane primary and queues midlane and plays mid Jhin. It's just way too bad when you get to an elo where you play against Relic Shield ADC every game.

Tanks.

Jhin cannot kill tanks as well as Attack Speed/Crit ADC's.

Because tanks

I have not had to much trouble on him but I tend to break away from standard build paths for items or runes. A lot of folks run item 3142 and Comet, I'm picking up a fairly early item 3072 and using Tempo, skipping the item 3142 and going for crits.

Tank meta and can't hurt tanks. Hypercarries are meta.

Because so many tanks are good right now and he has literally 0 ability to kill them. And he's horrible into champs like alistar thresh leona which are the majority of bot lane supports.

If anyone tells you "Tanks are very weak and resistances are nerfed" they're just lying or don't actually play the game.

Agressive hard engage supports and hyper carries are powerful again with relic / fleet footwork . They have enough sustain to survive poke damage and naturally outscale Jhin later.
