I don't get why people say that about Orianna. The ball isn't the champion there any more than the sword is the champion in the case of people like Master Yi or the etwahl is the champion with Sona. Yes, the ball does most of the actions, but there's a reason all of her abilities are called "Command:". Orianna is the one making the ball do stuff and the ball has no more agency or independence than any other weapon in League.

Orianna, the champion, interacts with other champions through a weapon, in this case her ball. That's something that can be said for a lot of champions.

Also her old lore is no longer canon.

If anything, the lore implies they're two separate mechanical creations, with Orianna made first, the Ball made second as a "pet and protector," and it referring to them both being Champions.

His kit doesn't go well together. He's part support part jungle and it causes him to suffer in both roles. His lack of hard CC makes him not an optimal support and his lack of gank pressure in both damage and cc make him a less than optimal jungler. They either need to change consume into a support ability or change bloodboil into a jungle ability.

His ult is still pretty cool and relevant. His W and E are super outdated tho. His E should remain relatively the same but should be a skillshot and he should get a whole new W. Maybe something that allows you to combo with your E into hard CC.

I disagree with this. E should remain targeted. I don't get this obsession with making everything skill shots. Targeted damage and CC, even if it is a slow, is still very viable in this game, and very necessary for dealing with the disgusting amount of mobility in the game.

Blood Boil, on the other hand, I do agree with 100%. The skill is dated and needs to replaced with something else.

As for the lack of hard CC everyone keeps mentioning - you can still be a good support without stunning or rooting someone. If stuns and roots are handed out like candy, they become cliche and the champs with them become less unique. Nunu dealing in heavy slows is perfect as it is, and I do think they can refine him without resorting to default stuns/roots that they use with every champion these days.

With my suggestions i was taking the direction of him being a dedicated jungler. The reason i like the idea of a skill shot is it allows you to put more power into the ability without it becoming broken. And it also makes the champion more fun to play because there is more skill involved thus you are more rewarded for using this ability successfully. It's just good game design. The reason why i think he needs hard CC is because of his tank playstyle. Without hard CC he's going to get outclassed by almost every tank in the game. It will also help solidify his jungle playstyle since it will actually allow him to gank effectively in this hypermobile state of the game. (idea: his ult could provide the same form of cc as Cassiopeia W along with the slow) Even that little bit of hard(ish?) CC would help him immensely. Also could you name me a good support that doesn't have at least 1 form of hard CC? I can't think of any. I appreciate the input man. Lets make Nunu great again Kappa.

Except that now he can't use E to harass without moving to one side, or the minions will block it. Lane Nunu just got exponentially harder.

I was thinking something along the lines of Syndra W type skill shot. Nunu could have a slingshot or something where he shoots an iceball that basically does the same thing but procs a debuff that allows him to use another ability to stun. Or something along those lines.

No real CC to speak of, but I use her for the harass. If you can pull the ADC's spirit and kill it, they're forced to retreat and miss out on CS. She's also great at holding off ganks and punishing all-ins.

Gangplank used to be an okay support before he was reworked. Galio makes a pretty good support. Kayle can be played like a heal bot. Orianna would be fine. I've seen Teemo support done before, you max your blind, grab a sight stone and get some really good map coverage. Taliyah and Syndra are both pretty cheesy, but Trundle is pretty good. Everything else is a joke

Illaoi turns every lane into poke lane past level 2. Grab E, Max E/Q/W, watch as your lane opponents can't even stay to farm. DrMundo Is a Slow-Bot. He makes Kiting easier for the Carry, while tanking a massive amount of damage constantly.

Personally, my favorite cheese support is Rammus. Get Talisman, roll in, and CC down the enemy ADC while yours gets free shots

I know you didn't mean any offense, but he's EUW so an error in English likely means he's not from the UK/Ireland/Malta. It's worth pointing out errors for those people so that they can improve their English, but not just in a "pay attention to your grammar idiot" way (I realise yours was jokey but that can still look douchey!!).

He's on the list for a VGU for a reason. He is about giving stats to your team and taking away stats from the opposing team. As a result, he is very unsatisfying to play because historically speaking, giving/ taking away stats one of the most unsatisfying ways to give power, even if the power is worth hundreds of gold. Look at Gangplank's old E or Taric old ult. Then notice how they were removed and were replaced with much more interesting abilities. They were just stat boosters that left the player with the feeling "Wow, I do absolutely nothing", even if the abilities were strong at the time. I can almost guarantee you that with Warwick's rework, his Attack Speed boost will be removed from his kit for this reason.

Everyone's complaining about his abilities, but has anyone noticed his passive? It encourages you to AA on a tank mage, I mean it's an even worse version of Lissandra's passive. As for his model, it looks NOTHING like his splash, with willump going from a muscle-bound furry white behemoth to a baby-blue old guy with a quiff and a beer-gut.

Riot, if you're not doing it already, put this sucker on the champ update production line.

He is on the champ update line. But he's fairly low priority since there are kits in greater need. But we can expect a full update at some point.
