My friend gifted me yorick - I plan on getting him to M5 before his rework.

I know he's a top laner. As a jungle main, I must try to jungle everyone I own to some extent. Yorick almost seems the most ideal because the ghouls tank the creeps in JG so his clears can be almost perfect after first clear. Mid lane is chernobyl levels of toxic rn so I never plan on mid laning him. Bot lane? forgeddabout it.

I already learned his basic functions and I guess, his way of keeping chase against solo targets, but I guess the questions are: How to teamfight as yorick How to counter ganks Most optimal builds (I tried tanky AD and this seems most optimal) Is it worth trying hybrid yorick seeing as helps him a lot more now?

Yorick clears very well, but his ganks are pretty meh - to say the least. I wouldn't recommend TF because you will probably need warrior and manamune, so taking 3rd damage item becomes risky. You could try cinderhulk but you need to backup it with HP items, so that's iffy too.

I never tried Yorick jungle so that's pure theoretic though.

On mid you can do surprisingly well, so if you like Yorick you can give it a shot. Your team will lack waveclear though, so keep this in mind.
