We understood people liked URF so much and they finally understood how stressful and irritating it is to play regular league so we are not just killing it but doing it slowly so you'll slowly forget about how good this gamemode really was while forcing you to play regular summoner's rift. Not exactly. They got a pretty valid point comparing it to playing a game with cheats. Once you cheat to get all the best stuff / expensive items in the game at a whim, playing the game normally feels like a downgrade and dissuades some people from playing it further

Urf is horrible... Every Urf mode that has been released has been horrible. Riot even admits that the game is so unbalanced that it makes people quit the game, lmao... So, Riot decided to add RNG elements hoping that casual players will play it and still be interested in the game after the gamemode gets rotated.

If they they don't want people quitting, remove the game mode from the rotation and delete all the RNG elements in game and off.

The new ask Riot in a nutshell:

"If your comment is related to supporting our ideas, providing us with content such as art or commenting on LoL's lore then we'll respond to you. If you make a comment critisising our design choices we WILL NOT respond to it and we'll let our army of trolls downvote you!"

The original URF was good... during a few hours, until all tryhards begin to spam the most broken champions.

I played three URF games when it was released; in the third game I had to mute two guys that were flaming at me for picking Ziggs (?) instead of one of the broken champs.

Then we had that URF when you could get hextech key fragments and people wanted to win or lose every game in 10 minutes to get 10 key fragments in an afternoon.

Seriously, this game mode is toxicity incarnate. It should simply disappear.

URF is garbage. Regular league is pretty garbage but that's purely because of Meddler's incompetence. URF, however, is fundamentally garbage.

URF was at its high point during the first couple days during its first April fools release

Then it has done nothing but plummet, and it is not because of Riot's choice to add RNG elements to it :/

It just isn't interesting anymore

Rito I just want to play Master Yi in URF/ARURF, that's all I'm asking. Its the ONLY way I can almost come close to re-experiencing season 2/3 ap full reset yi. Unfortunetly I own all 139 champions so the odds of me actually getting yi is 0.7% per game. WHY MUST YOU PUNISH ME RITO!!!

You could pretty much apply this to all the other maps and modes that have either been removed or are kept in the vault. I'm just glad people are finally seeing this side of Riot now that their decisions are effecting a game mode that a large amount of the playerbase likes to play.

easiest way to put 'urf' is 'if you dont like it, dont play it'. Im sure the same could be said about 'aram' and they resisted aram for ages. Ritos last dying gasp of grace was to establish aram as an actual game mode.

Wait, that sticker was Miss Fortune all along? I thought it was Rakan for the longest time.

URF was good for like a day before it devolved into Wukong Sona and toxic reactions to people having fun.
