Hextech Shard Trading?

What if there was a system where you could trade shards and/or essence in the game?

To make sure there was so nonsense like trading Badger Teemo w/ your friend to get his Spirit Guard Udyr, you would have to trade equivalent values. For example, to get a Spirit Guard Udyr shard from someone you'd have to sacrifice several shards till it equals SG Udyr's essence level, or simply trade another Ultimate Skin. As for essence trading, I'd leave it up to Riot to set an economy for Blue to Orange essence conversions, like maybe 10 blue essence equals 2 orange essences.
