6/27 PBE Update

Usually you guys are about nerfing something 1 by 1 but it looks like you guys are confidence in your decision so care to explain to us about these changes? not only are you nerfing the damage you are removing the out of combat movement speed to all of them, I would be ok if it was removed on youmuu since it has an active to give speed, but what I don't get is this:

https://i.gyazo.com/2d002263ab8b3f665060b70b4e44c66e.png "Assassins are best when they have to find the right moment to all-in their opponents. The ability to whittle their opponents down simply isn’t a major class strength for them. In other words, Most assassins want better roaming and better burst out of their items, not better lane harass. So, we’re giving it to them."

so why would you remove a utility that makes an assassin...assassins they move around a lot and roam and go around flank as fast as possible. I think these nerf happened because of the new champions seems like those movement speed would make him no clip all around the map, but that's just a guess.

so what are you doing here? are assassin NOT suppose to be roamers and do less damage? if you're going through this MS change you should buff mobility boots, but then other champs would abuse that wouldn't they? so yeah what are your plans here?

IMO please leave dusk blade don't touch.

edit:oh and you increased their price nice.

I was playing Talon the other day and I killed the enemy ADC and I guess Riot must've seen me do it. Now all Assassins are being punished as consequence.

I actually find the changes kinda interesting, some good, some bad, but interesting.

Looking at the changes, only ghostblade got a price increase. But it actually seems to have some sizable buffs. Ghost blade now has double the out of combat MS than it uses to. (Though other Lethality items don't have this.) And the active, is a strait up buff. As far as I can tell, they arn't especially removing the MS, rather they are consolidating it on a single item. (Which I think is good both for Assassins, and the item itself.)

I'm not sure about the Duskblade item though. They seem to be backing away from it being a "Cap stone" item for lethality. And with the extra CDR, it seems to be competing with Ghostblade as the main starting item, which would make sense now that they share a similar build path. (But is the extra burst, worth taking over the MS from ghost blade?)

EoN changes are just meh, I suppose it's a bit more generalist now that they replaced MR with HP.

I don't think Riot want's assassins to put too much stake into the Lethality items. Partially because, a) there is a multitude of AD itemization that is still within their reach. and b) Riot still needs to prevent them from becoming an abuse case on ADCs. So they try and improve the utility they offer (on ghost blade anyways) while nerfing their stats. (giving Assassins the utility they need, but not the damage.)

They aren't removing out of combat movement speed on all of them... That's just incorrect to say.

They are concentrating it into one item that is focused on movement if you want that for your champ. On duskblade, they replaced it with CDR, which should be good for assassins, and edge of night is more general now since it gives health instead of MR. The movespeed got moved onto one item so you can grab it if you want it.

As far as price, there might be a conversation to have there. But I take issue with acting like they are removing stats that aren't getting removed.

EDIT: checked my numbers, needed to edit for accuracy. first line still stood, though, there's still that stat on Ghostblade if you want it.
