that's half a long sword at level 1. pair her with braum or CC heavy champ and she's gonna be an early game champ who scales hard.

They changed her W to give bonus magic damage instead of bonus ad when near oathsworn a long while ago. They why you dont put a point into until you have to.

Wukong for example could still work, but he works because he will 100-0 her with W aa Q E aa R. or whatever combo you can manage. And that doesn't seem fair either, that he can kill her before she can react.
Basically if u dont kill her instantly and can be kited, she wins.
She loses if you can kill her instantly.

OrangeMarine1 votesI guess, but she's really not that hard to play so long as you hotkey [attack move click]. Draven is way harder. TBH imo kalista isn't much more difficult to play than lucian. His Q is harder than most of her kit, assuming your bind knows how to use her R.
I've never sent Q in the opposite direction, so that's on you for misplaying. You are probably moving too hastily and not letting Q fire off before you dash.
And no she doesn't have mana problems. E refunds mana, and E should only be used to last hit/slow in order to secure kills/secure kills. If ur spamming Q or missing E's, again, that's on you for playing poorly. A well played kalista with this buff is going to be too strong
5 AD is massive at level 1. When Vayne was OP they nerfed her by what? 3 or 5 AD i dont remember but that's what put her in line.

and it's not Kali herself that will be the problem. Bc of her chase potential, E pop slow, she synergizes amazingly with supports
im afraid that a competent Kali paired with a support who knows what they're doing is gonna be OP. They said they remove her synergy by removing W, but in turn they gave her more straight up dmg.
So she will still innately synergize with CC supps bc of Dash/E slow, but now has a huge early game buff and more immediate power.
i guess i cant complain too much tho, they also buff
