Jungling General Priorities
I know its new, I know we want to see all camps, and I understand that. Feel free to take a look around your jungle. No problems there. But after 15 minutes if I (or any laners for that matter) haven't seen your face in a single lane applying any pressure, there is a big problem. Even if your just level four Warwick coming in and saying booga-booga, that's a big deal. That tells the enemy team that you exist and you will make your presence known. But at 15 minutes, no sight? They will just @#$% on your team. And then you have 5 fully fed players against 4 underfed players and you. You can't 1v5 anymore, the jungle isn't that soft now. Gone are the days of FF Godyr lvl 16 after 20 minutes who ran into lane and tanked/killed everything in sight. Now you really need teamwork. So, here we go.
DISCLAIMER: I am not out to offend, just to make a point and an understanding. Please read at own discretion and if it offends you, kindly refrain from posting or downvoting this thread. I am out to teach both sides of the coin from being on both sides of the coin. (btw, I jungle a lot so I'm not just tossing this across the room)
Priority ONE: Regardless of situation, what you may be farming, or what you may be thinking of buying- if a teamfight breaks out, be there. Really. Because 4 players going down for maybe 1 is a VERY bad trade. 1 for 2 perhaps is ok, depending on the lost and taken, but not 4. You may be soloing dragon. You may be yoloing Baron. Drop it, run to your team, take it later. 5v5 can't wait.
Priority TWO: Contesting any objective so that you don't lose it. Self explanatory. That tower or your wolf camp? Pick, choose, move on. 10 hp tower you can't do a thing on, go ahead and farm. Full hp tower, mid lane, inhibitor protecting, 4v5? Yep, you got it! Go there =D, make us happy.
Priority THREE: Suddenly your bot lane scored a kill, maybe two if you did well, perhaps more if it was perfect. Now there is way less pressure down at dragon. Take it now. The dragon is a BIG deal. You need it to win. Its basically a permanent Baron buff with the potential to become even more. Don't go score a kill and secure a buff. NO. Dragon, now. Permanent red buff for your entire team.
Priority FOUR: "ganking" is situational and more of a mind game then a real thing that needs to go down. Its preferable of course if any pressure goes in or perhaps a kill on arrival. It doesn't matter though. Say hello to the enemy laners, give em a good chuckle, tell them you will not tolerate the dumpstering of your team. Aggressively if necessary. We appreciate that kind of thing.
Priority FIVE: Farm your jungle and do not get underleveled. Yep, thats how far down it is. There is no way to farm fast enough, no jungle item big enough, to warrant this being any higher. 300 gold in lane from a kill, pressure to a tower, taking of towers, taking of dragons or barons, they all come first. Your teams feeling of how they should play come first. Don't make them frightened because you never leave and then have to farm under turret until it finally falls. Go do something about it.
