Katarina

Is it bad to enjoy playing her? (especially when you can rack up the triple kill, then mop for penta) Oh and is she really a noob friendly champ? (I think she is, but when I see people do the 1v5 mentality and die before there ult is half queued- I just have to question)

Why would it be bad to enjoy a champion?

Just not fun when people say its a "noob champ because the ult does everything for you." =( Just got me thinking a few games back. Been spamming ARAM, so it may be more than a few.

Just put people who say that on ignore. Every champion has an insanely high skill cap, because so much of this game has nothing to do with your champion. Your vision control, your positioning, your shotcalling, your knowledge of itemization - you're playing League of Legends, not Katarina, and if you succeed, it's because you were better at League of Legends, not because of your skill with Katarina.

Mind if I add you in game? I have a few more questions.

No and no... You should definitely enjoy playing a champion, all the better if you're good on her. As for being noob friendly, kat sounded like a fun champion and was on free rotation shortly after I started. I had done really well my first time on 4 other champions, but found kat so frustratingly hard that I abandoned her after just 2 Games. Now maybe if I tried her she'd be a lot easier, but regardless there are many champions that I would say are more noob friendly. In general I think assassins are the least noob friendly.

Glad to hear =D. I enjoy assassins the most, so good as well.

It doesn't matter who you enjoy playing, so long as you do enjoy playing someone. Just be glad your favorite is able to carry.

As for how easy she is... It all depends on your positioning. She's a bit like Yi in that you don't want to jump into a CC lock situation. If you play smart and have team members who are willing (or unwilling but do it on accident) to bait CC for you she can seem quite easy. The problem isn't her however, it all depends on how knowledgeable your enemy is and if they are able to position/ward correctly to counter you. Lower ranks don't have that kind of knowledge.

Don't listen to people that "insult" you by saying a champ is OP, easy, etc. They are just mad that you killed them. Kat is not difficult because she has no skill shots. But she is difficult to play the more advanced player you are against (she is very susceptible to CC and you WILL be a target and they WILL save their CC for your ult). There is also a lot to learn about her, such as ward jumping, managing cooldowns, knowing how to team fight, not die, then mop up the team fight.

Don't worry about what other people say when you kill them...if you enjoy a champ and play them well, then keep doing it.
