As a Shaco Main

I am dissapointed in you rioters for the "rework" of shaco.

By moving his E damage towards what you feel is an "execute" you have killed the one thing shaco really excelled at which was killing squishy targets

He never needed an anti-tank mechanism, that really in all respects falls short.

The new change to his ult with the boxes is really gimicky, and really offers little more than a small zoning tool, which is lack luster

Shaco was in a very good state before

His Q burst now isnt even enough to drop a graves with zero defenssive items, and no stacks from his E up to under 75% from 100% which again is defeating the purpose of shaco.

He has always been a high risk high reward kind of champion, and by crippling him with these changes, im sad to say but ill be taking a long break from league.

Already been pushed away after seeing the changes hit the feeds, which sadly kept me away for 2+ weeks, but after actually playing with these live changes? yea im kind of over it..

The jungle feels so cheapened by these plants, they really serve no purpose, theyre hyper random, and the change to the camps is just... mehh.... its so much more built around AOE junglers now, which shaco simply isnt.

You turned the demon jester into a complete bitch... and me along with him

Sadly till shaco gets the kog revert treatment or something is done to these numbers, another sad customer walks away.

Shame on you guys

Sorry if it's not a good English but here are my personnal thoughts about How Shaco changes would have been 10 TIMES better (what i written in an other post):

"There was so many things to do with this Shaco Rework to put him at the same level than all the other assassin as new Rengar, new KahZix or new Talon... and a less risky pick:

Passiv:

10% - 30% damage from behind, same passiv than before (30% was before the 20% we have now), but it scale with levels. So it's a nerf in Early and a up in Late Game.

Q Spell:

Reduce the invisibility time at level 1 (but less than what they did) et up it at level 5. Early nerf / Late Game up. Give a reset to his Q, when we kill or assist, a total reset OR a CD reduction: ex: 12sec CD if kill/assist= -6sec on Q spell before the CDR application.

W: Make boxes invincible when we put them on the ground, before they go invisible. No need to up their HP and so on... only so the ennemi see the box but that a random AOE can't destroy it immediately or a single AA....

E:

Keep the same stats than before, but ADD +% missing HP. So Shaco is better in the Tanky Meta (meta that will stay tanky when we see the new Tank masteries, letality that is a nerf of armor penetration to make snowball less important) and eventually nerf slightly the damage at level 1 but keep the same amount than it was at level 5.

R:

Make the Clone less stupid, just as Tibber that becomes a monster when Annie dies. Instead of putin 3 boxes on the ground that a ridiculous and useless cause they have the same HP bar and can be OS.... when the Clone die he should make damage AND an AREA FEAR just as the boxes (W)."

Please don't forget that since Shaco was released in LoL, he only had NERFS again and again, the only up he ever had was gain more HP / level.... even the meta changes, jungle changes, items changes are nerfs in majority for him.

Don't bother bro. This is just the way this game is evolving into "E Sports". Everyone complained since those reworks and dynamic queue but riot is just too stubborn and never fixes anything.

I've been too afraid to start the update. Don't want my favorite champ to be unplayable. Goodbye 270k mastery as well as hundreds of games prior to mastery system across a few accounts.

Shaco used to be rewarding to play after dozens of practice games... what am I supposed to do now.

Tried him yesterday, not as bad as people are were calming to be honest.

definitely not "Im Shaclone and im angry and i will uninstall and go play overwatch" bad for me, the new Shaco will need some time to get used to, thats all

im not uninstalling, nor am i angry, if you read my post, im more bummed out at riots choice of direction.

The problem shaco faces now is his burst has been toned down from what it was, and his ability to actually execute people with his E has been minimized to basically nothing.

without ignite + E, you rarely can finish someone off.

Shaco has always been a very high skilled champion whether anyone agrees or not, he is, thats not saying hes hard to play, but he is very hard to master

Things like particle dodging with his ult is something only seasoned shacos will pull off consistantly

he doesnt feel right

not stacking boxes feels super awkward too... shaco has been almost unchanged for 6 seasons, and out of the blue they decide to just twist it up for no real reason at all.

If anything this pushed him further away from being competatively viable, and gutted his early game pressure alot with the duration to Q changes

After a couple more games i kinda see your point.

Before it was like abuse your good early tricks to able to be relevant late, now i cant solo kill the adc late even if i went 3/0/1 early.

I dont mind the box stacking, but his numbers are too low.

Dynamic q was the reason so many challenger and masters and even d3 up players quit around the same time as I did. Even though it was only for a few months, you have no idea the frustration of what everyone felt when it was 5 solo players in masters vs a full 5 man que (jesus christ esp when it was a 5 man q with challenger player smurfs on their masters accounts). I mighta been high masters low challenger his season until i went inactive but after quitting and looking at all these changes lmao Im so glad I did because this game literally went downhill so fast.

so disheartened that this company even felt this was a move in the right direction to begin with.

How cripplingly sad of a buisness decision
