Ekko Q & W synergy?

Would it be out of the question to have Ekko's Q also benefit off the passive recieved from his W, where missing health damage applies but have that damage apply onto champions? Wanna know if that sounds like a reasonable addition to his Q. Only mentioning this cause his poke sucks & his all in to me in all honesty feels unrewarding even when you're ahead. I don't have a lot of motivation to keep playing him so I'm giving Ekko a break until he is a more favorable champion & feels useful.
