How do you carry from the Jungle?

I find laning extremely tedious and boring, and have almost exclusively been a jungler since i started this game in season 1. If i dont get jungle, I usually ADC. But I really want to know (silvers and below will be ignored) how to carry from the jungle. Any advice at all would be appreciated. I read advice all the time that you need to improve on CS to get out of gold, however, as a jungler I feel that isnt even important.

The game's changed so much since season 3 and 4, when the game was way more snowbally and there were OP items. Im just not sure what I should be doing anymore because I could go 5/0 and get a lane fed and we still end up losing because it feels like the 0/5 enemy laner does the same damage as I do.

I'm not sure whether I should be ganking all game, farming all game, or denying vision.

Well for one, when you stated "as a jungler i feel that isn't even important" refering to the cs (or your jungle monsters) that is wrong. 100%. Jungle farm is your only CONFIRMED gold that you will get consistently. Farming is important in this game. being a jungler is finding time when to be farming or when you need to rotate and maybe counter gank, or the enemy is shoving in and they are a good gank. Things like that. A good jungler will apply decent pressure, and stay on top of objective control. Such as dragon/Baron/Rift/Red/Blue and even scuttle for vision. I used 2 be a jungle secondary, and i think its still my 2nd used role. every game is different.

I think its fairly easy to carry from the jungle. It actually may be the easiest role to carry from since your involved in and control so much in the game.

Not that jungle is easy. But just that its easiest to carry from if your good at it.

There are a lot of things that go into carrying as a jungler. I think the most important thing is knowing how to path properly. Jungle is the role that requires the most game sense in my opinion because of how you need to when to farm, when to gank, when to invade, when to countergank, when to dive, when to take drag, etc. There are a lot of things that go on, and if you want to carry you need to know how to do all of these things properly, otherwise you aren't going to get much accomplished.

In terms of other things that you need to know how to do to carry, is the proper micro for clearing in the jungle. Some people in lower divisions might think that clearing camps is easy, but in reality there is a lot of micro that goes into clearing camps. For example, I saw that you've been playing Eve in your match history. A tip for eve is after you do your first buff, you want to q the camps that you walk past on your way to your other buff so that you get heals from the talisman. Little things like that can go a long way in a game, so I would advise that you learn the ins and outs of your champions to put yourself ahead of the enemy jungler because you know little tricks to clear faster or to stay more sustained.

Finally, I'm just gonna say that if you want any more tips, feel free to add me. I teach jungle and a few champs for free, just be willing to take criticism and learn.

Well, as with most champs, you'll fall behind when you fall behind in items. So cs and farming is important as it gives you more gold than a kill. But wait, random league player, kills give about 300 gold and one of my raptors only give 10! I understand this, but there's 3 of them plus the big one giving a total of about 100 gold. Do this 3 times as you'll end up making the same amount of gold with a lot lower risk of dying and a higher risk of completing the camps than getting that kill. While ganks are important for map pressure, for good they're usually a gamble that isn't in your favor.

This is so wrong. As a jungler, you want to be cycling ganks on the enemy laners. The way you win this game is by being stronger than the enemy team and winning fights. You get much more ahead by getting ganks off than by farming camps. Do you want to know why? It's because you're also giving gold to your allies who helped, and you are denying gold from the enemy team. If you are just farming your jungle without ganking, then you are 90% going to lose that game. The only way you win like that is if your team won on their own or if the enemy team does the same exact thing. You can't expect a game to always go your way, you have to play to the situation and treat each game differently. The last thing I want to say is that you are saying that they are a gamble, when in reality you should know when you get a positive outcome from a gank.

But with unsuccessful ganks, you only take xp from the laner, or risk getting counter ganked and getting double killed. I'm not saying don't gank, I'm saying you don't have to always have to gank and carry the game by yourself from the jungle. A lot of people make risky plays and end up feeding because they feel like they HAVE to carry, and end up falling way behind because of it. Sure carrying is fun, but so is having an even match at 30 mins because no one kept feeding and snowballed.
