Why did RIOT have to take out the old client?

The new client is so laggy. It lowers my frames in and out of champ select. It doesn't load properly when the old client did. I'm sure a big percentage of players used the old client over the new one, so why get rid of it? Remember league is the biggest online game in the world. Even a small percentage of players is still A LOT of people.

They did it because the new client has a lot more capabilities, and so that they don't have to support two different versions which takes time and resources they could use elsewhere. If it lags your frames in game past champion select, consider turning on low-spec mode. It completely closes the client that would otherwise run in the background while the game runs and reopens it at the end of the game.

The same reason they removed Dominion and any other modes that they hate:

SOZ Guys, this isn't needed for lcs or pro play, and we just don't have the money for it to keep using it, again.. SOZ! Enjoy the new buggy client tho that takes too many resources!!

meanwhile in the background 5 riot employees are stuffing themselves on pizza, wine and dining on plates made of cash cause we just keep handing them money.

I don't like change. I'm too old for this. Where are my item sets? Damn it.
