His damage is low and hard to hit. You can't just Q-W-E-R and get kills(if you aren't overfed)

He's squishy, entirely skill shot reliant. Needs blue buff to do his job in lane. Idk everyone has their ups and downs.

  • Skill-shot reliant (on all abilities)
  • Two abilities (ER) are delayed
  • Low early pressure (can have difficulty killing enemies unless they get poked low first)

The first two points result in him having issues against mobile champions who can easily avoid his abilities. Combined with his squishiness, assassins can be an issue during laning phase and skirmishes.

He's good at waveclearing, poking around objectives, and disengaging so he can be quite safe if he plays to his strengths.

Probably has the easiest abilities to dodge in the game. Q just walk sideways and you're good to go, E just don't walk in the bombs. I can't tell you how many kills I've gotten while browsing the shop while dead and I'm like 'wtf how' and then I see the enemy decided it was a great idea to walk through the mines. The ult you've got a full 2 seconds at point blank range to fuck around inside before you use any kind of escape to get out, 3.5 seconds at max range.

The con of playing Ziggs is the frustration you feel when playing against somewhat intelligent enemies.
