Just for fun again, tell us a cool tip of your favorite champion ^.^

MrTeaBaggles·8/8/2015, 6:09:50 PM·17 votes·3,636 views

Yasuo can auto before he ult's someone, when you've learned yasuo you cringe when someone ults right away xD

Edit: added another few Yasuo tips,

Yasuo can dash through pretty much all the jungle camps for a clean escape, this can be difficult to do though, and requires use of the "target champions only" mode

Always wait the full duration of an allies knockup before ulting, also dont be too quick to ult, finding the right time is essential

Yasuo can cancel his autos and abilities pretty well with each other, auto-Q-auto-E-auto, stuff like that

Since the recent update, Yasuo's tornado now applies on hit effects, this makes his laning a tad bit stronger if he gets an early shiv, its also good because it makes you hold your tornado longer to zone enemies, and also influences movement to build shiv stacks, also meaning flow stacks :)

Vayne you don't have to 1v5

The Bíg Ticket8/8/2015, 9:23:49 PM14 votes

As Jax once you hit 6 hit a creep twice then jump to your opponent and auto him to proc the ult passive.

BatteryDead8/9/2015, 5:15:42 AM14 votes

As Skarner, just before your ultimate ends turn around! You'll end up pulling them just a little bit farther this way!

OneDrunkGuy8/8/2015, 8:13:14 PM10 votes

As Diana your R's travel time is exactly the same amount of time it takes for your max range Q to travel. So if you're sure that your Q will hit you can R right away and get an instant reset on your ult. Also at lower elos when people are running from you with little to no health I find that I'm able to just throw out a max range Q and walk away, they tend to run right into the end of it lol.

Zyorhist8/8/2015, 8:43:26 PM10 votes

item 3725 on Trundle makes fighting near minion crowds really deceptive. You can smite a group of minions for an instant heal that no one expects and causes the enemy team to second guess fighting you.

Lugg8/8/2015, 9:26:56 PM8 votes

Bard jungle can do a "drive by" Baron or Dragon steal by using Magical Journey across the back wall of the pit and smiting halfway thru.

NinjaToad998/8/2015, 8:06:39 PM8 votes

As Lux you can, with good timing, do: Q>E>AA>E(Detonate)>R>AA for maximum damage. It always annoys me when people skip out on the AAs until after the ult. It wastes you passive's true potential!

Sassmast3r8/8/2015, 10:40:28 PM7 votes

Soraka - Sick of the fearful feeling you get when using Soraka, due to her lack of survivability when she gets ganked? Fear no more! If you see the enemies chasing you down, and you have your silence up, place it in front of where you are already running to, so that while they chase you, they have no choice but to either run into your Equinox and end up silenced as well as stunned, or have to run around, saving you a few seconds that could just be the deciding factor as to whether or not you survive!

Shen is slightly related to scuttle

TwistedFate blue card does the most damage so know when to use it example farming minions

Omnipotent One8/9/2015, 2:14:36 PM4 votes

The mistake I see the most with Chogath in lane is not starting E...

ALWAYS start E lane Chogath

It gives better early clear resulting in picking up minions easier keeping your passive procing and keeping you healthy as well as providing some small poke. At lvl 2 a well landed Q with the extra E dmg is an almost guaranteed kill.

Edit: Also when an enemy champion is executable with Chogath R a red indicator circle appears around them

Icestar11868/8/2015, 6:50:57 PM4 votes

Malphite has one of the safest jungle clears, and once you have a couple of items, he stops taking damage from the small camps entirely.

7ha7guy7778/8/2015, 6:22:24 PM3 votes

Malzahar can charge his passive in base by taking Q at level 1. You can get an early voidling with this trick and potentially cheese a 1.5v1 at level 1. You can also use Q and W to get 2 (or 2 more) charges on your passive before heading back to lane.

TurquoiseYoshi8/8/2015, 6:59:02 PM3 votes

Gnar As Gnar, once you hit Level 6 and have a full rage meter, E in, R the enemy into a wall, W them when the stun is over, and Q them when that stun is over. You will normally be able to get a kill, while still having very safe CS and harass. Basically what I'm saying is that Gnar is OP.

Edit: Apparently people don't like my tip so I'll say something else. As Jinx, if you see an enemy run away with low health under turret into a blind area, give them a second, then ult towards the enemy fountain. If you time it and aim correctly, you will get the kill.

RogueWill8/8/2015, 11:19:40 PM3 votes

As Vi punch first, ask questions later.

In all seriousness, you can cancel your own Q by dropping a ward/trinket (3 sec cd) . can help if you want to q over walls

The Bearded Bard8/9/2015, 1:47:14 AM3 votes

I'll share a couple for a few of my favorites.

As Ziggs, there are two distinct playstyles that you can use to adapt to your enemy. If they've got a short ranged assassin or burst mage that can easily all in you, Zed or Annie for example, keep your distance and poke with your range. Don't go anywhere near them, even to use your passive. A bit of extra damage isn't worth you dying for. Basically just always keep your distance, and stay in the back line. The second is to use against other long ranged champions, champions like Xerath or Velkoz. With this you're going to be in their face, tossing autos between Q's and doing your best to dodge their spells. Your passive will help you win trades even if you get hit by the enemies spells.

As Karma top lane, you'll often run into champions that, after an MR item or two, you straight up can't kill. Champions like Garen Galio Maokai. but that doesn't mean you don't still counter them. It's not all about killing them, it's about making sure you're farming well while they're not. So even if it seems like you'll run OOM before you kill them, keep harassing at all times. If done well, I assure you you'll have at least double their farm by the end of lane phase. For squishier laners, it often takes only one ulted Q to make them think twice about staying in lane. Once they back, be sure to look out for their return and slap them with an ulted Q as they're walking back to lane. And last but not least, Karma is deceptively durable for the amount of damage and lack of tank items she builds. Playing her as a poke/kite mage is all about looking like an easy kill, then dancing out of their reach with slows, snares, and your shield and MS buff. Poke them when they refuse to engage on you, kill them when they engage on you. Don't be afraid to fight under enemy tower.

As Zyra mid lane always throw a Q and a seed between the casters and melee minions when your enemy gets near for farm. Doing this either keeps them away from farming or they take free damage. Much like Karma top, you can easily fight under enemy towers. Use your superior range and plants to do damage from beyond the tower's range, or within it and have your plants tank for you. Again, like Karma top, if you see an enemy coming back into lane after backing, slap them with a full combo. They often don't see it coming and get hit by both the Q and E, then are forced to tank two plants for as long as they're snared. Try to avoid Athene's and other heavy mana items. Her early game is difficult to manage her mana, but her mana scaling is good enough that mid to late game you can spam comfortably with just a morellos. Keep in mind that her Q plant has range, but her E plant has slows. It's often good to do one of each, but two E plants is usually not a good idea. Two Q plants is okay, but not two E plants. When using your ult, even plants you spawn after the initial cast will be buffed. When using your ult, it's often a good idea to fight inside of it, even if that means dying. The knock up leads to an easy passive, and the buffed plants combined with your passive will nearly always be enough to kill. Last but not least, if you know you're going to die, try to land a double planted snare right before you do. The snare combined with slowing plants leads to a near unmissable passive.

SSJTribe8/9/2015, 2:38:01 AM3 votes

Lux Her Q has a small cast time before the projectile comes out, so if you're trying to catch someone off guard, you can press Q, then flash. If you do it right, the Q will launch from your new location with your opponent having minimal reaction time.

Rico Nasty8/9/2015, 5:47:17 AM3 votes

Karma Use Karma's Ult-W a lot more! I always see people just spamming Ult-Q as soon as it's off cooldown, but her Ult-W is ridiculously powerful. It's like a Fiddlesticks drain, except with a snare, twice the damage, you can cast your other abilities, AND you can move while casting it! Although she has better combos for teamfights, her Ult-W is great for dueling or if you're caught with bad positioning. I find it very fun to use while fed especially.

DrProfVibeCheck8/8/2015, 7:30:00 PM2 votes

Many people say that Shyvana's weakness is her inability to gank early cause of a lack of cc, but once you get bilgewater cutlass and chilling smite, the chain slow is more than enough to take down an opponent. Sometimes, I like to take exhaust instead of flash cause Shyv is already mobile as hell and exhaust helps with chasing and dueling.

TheDuelist9998/8/2015, 9:09:24 PM2 votes

rush rhylais on cho and a w will slow and keep them from dashing making your q almost impossible to miss

sNanaya8/9/2015, 2:41:27 PM2 votes

With Diana at 40% CDR you can do a triple R combo instead of the usual 2

agbudar8/8/2015, 8:58:06 PM2 votes

Garen can use all his abilities during E without interupting E except his ult which will cancel E.

E cannot be stopped by any CC (you will still stop moving though) and will spin till the end of its duration this litle gimick is why garen can counter the crap out of Riven and use decisive strike during E for increased movement speed and instant silence to counter your slows from E. and activate W only when riven or anyone else is going ham right before, so you reduce their damage by 30% while they CANNOT stop your onslaught.

congratz now even the so called garen counters will have to be on their toes or still horribly lose lane

The Quinndred8/8/2015, 7:41:51 PM2 votes

As Quinn, while having your ult active, you can activate your ultimate again for the execute, mid E dash and bounce off your target still dealing the damage from your skystrike.

Not Katarina8/9/2015, 9:36:38 PM2 votes

If you turn around before you start ulting on Katarina, Cassiopeia's ult won't stun you, despite you spinning around. Katarina

Blastermine8/9/2015, 5:59:13 AM2 votes

JarvanIV

His E-Q combo is a self pull. This means that you can escape while rooted.

Iamawalrus8/9/2015, 9:37:16 AM2 votes

As Vayne, if you tumble against a wall the tumble animation is extremely short and the reset auto comes out almost immediately.

Skoonie8/9/2015, 11:01:18 AM2 votes

As Gangplank , your passive works on towers, but only deals half of its damage. Combined with destroying your barrels to reset your passive's cooldown, as well as item 3057 procs, you can take down towers a surprisingly fast rate.

Matarra8/8/2015, 9:35:45 PM2 votes

As riven you can cancel every ability with E. You can use all of your abilities and tiamat in 1 second. E R TIAMAT W Q.

Zafer8/8/2015, 9:30:59 PM2 votes

Bard Put health shrines in places at start of jungling path to help jungle at start of game. You can do this before laning, back for your mana, and reach lane full of mana, while helping jungle.

Q takes practice to land well, keep trying. Also, if enemy is chasing you through Magical Journey, the Q is a quick stun.

Look for the longest stretches of wall in map. I've saved teammates, gotten kills, and just downright surprised both teams by how long some of these journeys can go. Also, it's good for its (essential) invincibility. Journeying through a turret when 3 ganked bot secured a kill due to that stall. Still died though.

Lastly, look up a chart with all the meep upgrades. The totem spawns are pretty important for late game, and carrying capacity is important for fights. You shouldn't leave your adc all the time, obviously, but you should realize when you could get a spawn upgrade for faster upgrades.

Also, ult is pure skill. The safe and easy choice is using it to just disable turrets for a dive. But if you're trying to land champs, it requires a bunch of skill there, and can make or break fights.

Eggstealer8/9/2015, 1:51:54 PM2 votes

Ok I have 2 for my baby Nautilus

  1. if you E then Q while near the enemy you can hit them with multiple E ripples.

  2. if you attack and then quickly use W your auto will reset and you will attack 2 times very quickly.

A Miss Fortune8/9/2015, 1:07:17 AM2 votes

MissFortune if someone is running away from you, her E (Make it Rain) has a really high range so you can slow them, they won't take the full duration but it can definitely allow you to catch up to them and kill them if you use it right.

Oh and people use a combo like W > AA > Q > AA but due to her Q being an auto attack reset, while you're using the auto attack reset the W bonus Attack Speed is useless. So doing AA > Q > AA > W is better.
