@Riot, about Nidalee

Let's talk . As a Nidalee support main since season 4, pre-rework, I am thoroughly disappointed to see your constant nerfing and negative reworkings of Nidalee, as are many others, as evidenced by the '40% winrate' spam. To understand how she got like this, we have to understand where things started to go wrong.

A short time ago, pros were abusing Nidalee's triple auto-reset in jungle clears and hitting nearly every spear, causing consecutive nerfs to Nidalee. Rito, you removed her triple auto-reset. You removed her niche as an early-game control jungling threat by nerfing her damage near-all around. You gutted her sustain, and made it a poor anti-execute, only relevant lategame. Nidalee's always suffered from mana problems, yet you buffed-up the cost of traps and heals. You nerfed Rylai's, which has always been a common Nidalee item, as it synergizes with her need to jump in fights, as well as complimenting her useless traps and spear-poking. I understand the game focuses on balance towards Plat+, but it is infuriating to see literal gutting to a champion who is a super minion when lacking scaling/base damages, because Faker and Burgerson are so skilled.

Let's discuss possible routes to fix these problems:

*Lower mana costs, or significantly buff Nidalee's mana pool, establishing that Seraph's can become core again

*Make traps on a stock system (make them slow like Jhin?)

*Buff heal. It literally is worse than Alistar's right now, it's pitiful.

*Since you're probably going to rework her despite having a cohesive kit that is thematically correct, could you make Fighter Nidalee viable again? Last time round, it was 'Nidalee isn't going in Cougar, OMG, stop spearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!1', now it's 'Nidalee's Cougar is far too strong, because people are landing spears that take significantly more effort and skill to land, so we'll gimp her kit and make spearing the only thing she's good for again, and even then, because it's not like her clear matters, as what should be an earlygame champion, let's make Annie, Syndra, and other Battle Mages have about 1.5x a min-range spear as damage in their Qs, and have about 2/3 of a max-range spear. Oh no, we buffed other assassins, but decided to nerf Nidalee, let's ignore her, and let her winrate plummet to 38% in ranked in some elos, despite having no bugs. We like dogs better anyway.'

It just doesn't make sense Riot. My favorite champion. I know how to play Nidalee and will not say she is trash. But she has visible gameplay issues in heal and traps, and that could be a start of a fix. Knowing how fragile her balance can be, proceed with caution.
