@Riot Regarding Yasuo, and the treatment of 'infinite mobility champions'

Namely Yasuo, as Riot is doing things about Camilla. 15% play rate, and Riot refuses to acknowledge that, despite his average win rate, he's overshadowing most AD assassins, and with the 7.3 nerfs to other AD assassins, he will have an even higher play rate. It's disgusting that this is the same company endorsing gameplay diversity, when all I see, every game, is a Yasuo.

My main issue with Yasuo isn't that he's resourcless (Riven is an example of a mobile, resourceless fighter assassin done right), it's his passive. Free crit, on top of the shield, for being mobile, on a champion who gets a .1 cd dash. You need to take his shield away, Katarina lost her DR, Akali lost her infinite sustain.

Uhh ok..

  1. Yasuo's 2x Crit passive is probably the most balanced part of his kit. It keeps him from building complete bruiser and forces him to build glass cannon like he's supposed to be.

  2. Do you know why he has his shield? His base stats are pretty bad (especially compared to other champions in his class) and he has no scaling MR. He was intended to be played in the mid lane so he was given his shield to protect him from the range of mages he will most likely fight and his wall to protect himself from abilities (because again, he's not getting any magic resist unless he buys it)

  3. I don't know why you're comparing Yasuo to AD Assassins in the first place. He does not belong to that class he is a Fighter/Slayer (champions that excel in skirmishes)

  4. This post seems a little biased. You say Riven is the model resourceless champion but if anything she is the one with "infinite mobility". She doesn't have any conditions to use her mobility, the only thing stopping her is her cooldowns (she builds plenty of CDR anyways)

7.3 Assassin nerfs. It's like you are saying Kha Zix & Rengar didn't deserve those nerfs. Lethality got buffed and it's in a very good spot right now. ''Free''. Did you know Yasuo has a 10% Reduced Critical damage on his AA & 25% Reduced Critical damage? His dash a fixed distance as well. Oh yeah, HIs shield is definitely over powered, One aa and he doesn't have a shield. How is Riven done right comparing to Yasuo?

You realize that the people that are actually in the top of challenger right now (viper and revenge) mainly play Riven? Riven is much stronger and more rewarding to play than Yasuo, and Yasuo is very hard to climb the ranked ladder with, so Riven wouldn't be the "one done right." Yasuo is an extremely squishy champion who needs his shield to tank some initial damage in fights. Remove it, or his wind wall, and you just made him one of the squishiest champions in the game. Yasuo's E is also not broken at all, since he can only target enemies, making him extremely prone to ganks. And he has damage reduction on his crits, and his E, one of his major early game damage sources, just got nerfed to the point where you shouldn't be maxing it anymore. So think again.

Yeah, fuck him for being really fun to play and having a large amount of dedicated mains who enjoy him? He should be nerfed so that the AD assassins who are winning far more often right now can be played more!
