I'm sorry, but teambuilder doesn't help me learn roles... It helps me learn new champions sure, but not entire roles. Plus you have to realize the difference between "lanes" and "roles" as they are completely different. An Assassin can "Viably" go mid, top, or into the jungle (very very rarely do they got bot lane.) Does that mean if I'm a top lane assassin my role is top lane? Nope. I'm just an assassin. In all honesty i say you should know 3 champions of each lane, and some of their ins and outs of what they do. Not 3 of each role in total (sorry but mages come in 3 variants, Burst, Utility, and Assassin)

So Akali can go Top, Mid, and JG. That's 1/3, 1/3, 1/3, 0/3, 0/3. Learn Xin and now you have another top and jg. Now that's 2/3, 2/3, 1/3, 0/3, 0/3. Now learn Cho Now that's 3/3, 3/3, 2/3, 0/3, 0/3. Now Learn Lulu Now that's 3/3, 3/3, 2/3, 0/3, 1/3. 4 champs almost has you covered.... It's not so hard...

As soon as teambuilder draft comes around, will do. Until then I don't like mirror matchups and Fiora+Yasuo in every game.

I play Team Builder so I can screw around with friends regardless.

Mmm, I feel like Thresh top today. Friends won't complain, and players who join the lobby KNOW what I'm doing.

Mmm.. I feel like Rek'sai support. I have to AFK, well at least my friends know I'm AFK and I'll be ready to go when I get back!

Mmm.. I feel like playing Jungle Yorick, well at least everyone who is on my team understands that and won't rage over me picking it!

I'm not being a dick, really. I love team builder because everyone I play with understands I'm breaking the meta before the game starts. If they don't like that, they can find another lobby. Just because you would like to have newer players play team builder is forcing out an entire League community who plays TB because, in my opinion, Blind pick is dumb, and draft is just ranked without the pressure to preform well.

Not to mention I can just queue for ranked if I wanted to draft mode.
