a Jhin main who has a problem against Zed.

I made a topic about this problem I had with Zed, I was fed and he had a decent score, then this guy ults me and totally misses his Q and E but lands 2 basic attacks and bam! I'm gone. With Duskblade and ultimate it was enough to kill me with 2 aa and R.

Now the replies I got from the community was that Assassins counter adcs, I totally agree and I know that I should die to him if I'm alone and my support is not here to peel for me, but shouldn't at least he does his full combo to kill me? Like it should be difficult for him to kill someone with a higher score than him right?

Why the hell does he one shot me even if he misses his spells? Is that fair? Is that how Assassins supposed to kill adc? Rito pls.

Is this an issue or am I just over reacting? Does anyone else have this problem?

jhin = adc zed = assassin

if you aren't building defense he is going to one shot you, it is the very purpose of his existence

How does a Zed miss his E after ult and is still able to auto you (because the only way I can imagine is you flashing out, but he wouldn't be able to auto you then)

If he ulted you, he shouldn't have missed his E. You have no defenses. Duskblade is armorpen. I'm assuming with "decent score", he probably did around 300-500 per auto. With that much AD, he probably did around 320-580 damage on his E. (300 to 500ish) x 2 + (320 to 580ish) + (300-500 from his ult AD) + 45% of ((300 to 500ish) x 2 + (320 to 580ish)) And then his Duskblade proc.

That probably is enough to kill you.

The main problem I see here is you maining Jhin. I mean, there's no problem maining Jhin in general, but in this exact situation.

Zed is not the only assassin in game that's going to 1 shoot an ADC without performing his full combo. Talon can also 1 shoot you with R > Q > Hydra proc if he's decently fed, even if you are more fed than he is. Same goes for Fizz, Kha who basically needs Just Q and 1 aa procing his passive and for example Rengar who can basically just QQ you twice in a row and kill you out of stealth.

Jhin is immobile, long ranged poke based ADC without a point click reliable cc, which means that you are an easy target for an assassin with his core Items completed. In the other hand, If you are Ezreal who can blink away, Vayne who can Stealth and condemn, Lucian who can juke and burst, Graves also, situation would not be so one sided as you mentioned.

Jhin, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ashe (if her ult is on a CD) are kinda defenseless when it comes to ALL IN except if Caitlyn hits her Caliber Net which is kinda delayed and you can die before it actually goes off.

And 1 more thing, I doubt he really used just his R and AA since Zed will automatically E as soon as he ults you so you got hit by his R, E and 1-2 AAs which is fairly enough for an assassin to execute defenseless ADC.

I really thought Zed is kind of a non-issue right now, but apparently he still tilts people.

If you're playing Jhin, you need to remember he's not that great of a boxer since he has fixed AS and has to reload, and he doesn't have burst/quick CC/mobility.

Stay close to teammates and use your range, since Zed can pretty much delete any squishy unless they're good at boxing/have good CC. Even if they're ahead.

Although this Zed sounds like utter shit. I mean, how do you miss miss of your combo?! It's super easy to hit!

But anyways, never underestimate assassins, since they're the counter of ADCs (pretty much).

If you were somehow in range to even be ulted by Zed, then that's your problem. You're playing Jhin, one of the best champions for (when it calls for it) literally sitting a screen away and spamming abilities
