Can we get an option for reporting for someone offensively spamming pings?

I think that would fall under either the toxicity category or for offensive language. But what you suggested doesn’t sound like a good choice. If somebody is toxic and they are in the same lane as MIA pings are being spammed, they might take it the wrong way and think that the other person is flaming them, when really that person might be warning everybody that a key enemy player is missing. Which can then result in an unfair ban on the person warning his teammates.

NOTE: this is just my interpretation of what could happen

Good point though. I just find it highly frustrating the fact that some random asshole finds it appropriate to spam someone with question marks cause he did something bad or whatever. Then again, i can't mute his pings because there's always possibility of him pinging something valuable for me

Well then lets say that somebody starts flaming for the first 10 min of the game and does not use the pings to communicate correctly, then you can definitely mute him. If not then I guess it would be safe to not mute him for a little while
