Let's talk about Bard.
Is it me or do any other Bard players feel like his house just burnt down? Incidentally he lost his job as a fire fighter the same day.
Most champs I can take coming and going out of rotation throughout the seasons, but to me, he's an iconic one because he's so quirky. Maybe I personally just haven't found his groove/niche with the new season, but it feels like with all the new arm pen toys, the rework of spellthief's (losing the proc was a hard hit) and just the pace at which newer champs scale in the game (looking at senna), nothing seems to cut it. To me, he's a late game scaling champ in a place where you don't see many matches past 30-40 mins anymore, that doesn't scale nearly as fast or hard, and he's lost his early game bite that makes him relevant. These days, 15 mins in, some champs are at 200 cs, and you're just getting the range on your meep in the sweet spot, and that's if everything was going well.
Here are some quality of life changes that, I don't know would address the issues, but at least shake it up:
I don't think spawning chimes any faster would improve anything, but maybe up the damage per meep; Maybe lower the chime threshhold on upgrading meeps; Damage could always be upped; Q reset after entering magical journey; Lowering the cd on abilities a few seconds; Make caretaker shrines charge faster with level; Make the number of caretaker shrines available increase with shrine level (similar to yordle traps on cait)
Since he's currently a late game champ, maybe a slight rework to where his kit allows him to stall out the game. I used to run zz'rot in quite a few matches, but alas it is no more. It would be cute if say magical journey spawned meeps that worked like voidspawn if cast near an enemy turret or if cast on your own turret or if meeps demolished turrets.
