Idea's to shorten Ranked-Q waiting time...

This is for all of us who are nearly fed up with the massive increase in time spent waiting for a ranked match to pop. I won't quit LoL but instead I would like to make some suggestions, and invite others to do the same, to shorten and/or make the wait time more bearable. To spark up this thread I begin with 2 ideas, they are:

  1. Similar to WoW, there should be an LP bonus or some kind of reward(a misc. rune, mystery skin after so many fills....) some kind of reward for those who give up main roles to fill whatever role is currently needed. This would give incentive for many more players to fill the least desired lane and therefore assist in spreading the player base throughout the lanes for a faster ranked Q waiting time. This would only be in effect when a lane is badly needed for ranked matches.

  2. Actually, I need to work on this second idea......

Please, let's get some action into decreasing Ranked q times. We waste entirely too much time waiting to play a video game. -ty

How do you stop people from hitting fill then begging for another rile or trolling?

I can't see Riot messing with bonus rewards, until they at least finish, fine tuning their hexcraft reward. And yet, I would imagine they would just use said system to implement that. (which would still make it feel like a grind.) Though the mastery system, arguably would already reward people for having a diverse role base. (Cause 10 Supports means 10 potential chests I can earn once I master them.)

That all in mind, I don't think Riot really want's to be overt with such rewards. They are probably under the Impression that, going support. (or another in demand role) are already rewarded with the comparatively short Q times. (Which was the case for me, when we had Teambuilder. I Queued up as Support, because I know I can find a game right away.)

I think a another good idea is to add some kind of ticker when ever we 'fill'. After x-amount of fills you get priority Q for any lane you want. This idea is less thought out but I didn't want to forget it.

Either way, I intended this thread to be about what the title says and not just about my ideas. I am hoping to get a bunch of minds together to perhaps spark a fire in the minds of those who can make actual changes to the Ranked Q waiting times.

I am almost at 20 minutes waiting for a Silver League ranked match. This is the longest I have waited for a match. Q just popped! Not my main but watev'. Hopefully no one dodges....
