I feel like they might be delaying until people get invested in dynamic so it doesn't just tank when solo-q releases.

I really want to get some thing going with dynamic, but I don't think it's going to happen in any great strides until they release their other features like clubs (which they also might be delaying for); solo-q is unbeatable for personal growth/skill, but at the end of the day, solo-q never really felt like the strategy game that league is supposed to be, at least for me. On one hand, I still like playing standard/not having crazy cheese strategies, but when every game is just group mid and push, it's just frustrating since you know you're making a mistake, but if you don't go with it, your team will lose the 4v5 and you lose the game.
Personally, I want dynamic to be my main, and just play solo-q to improve my mechanics, etc.
Appreciate the poll but Riot doesn't need this. They already know the huge proportion of players who queue solo.
I don't think it's ever coming. Queue times are too long in DQ as is and splitting the player base would only increase wait times and quality of matches in both queues. In fact I was shocked that they said they're going to be creating a pure solo queue to begin with because it goes against their stated policies regarding queues. I still think it was just a lousy attempt to placate the outraged player base and string them along until they stopped caring.

Well they did mention that when they release solo queue your rank from dynamic would transfer over(only when it's initially released) so that you wouldn't have to get frustrated climbing all over again.
Im pretty hype that the solo ladder will have you do new placements, meaning 0-10 is b5, 1-9 is b4 etc. Do well in placements and you're already high silver and gold is freelo from there. I just really hope they give borders for solo.
The only way i can see people really getting carried were if they were in the support role. Im playing jung and mid atm and i was g5 last season. I've improved a bit so maybe mid gold for me this season but if i were to face a diamond jung/mid ide just get rocked and be a hindrance to my team.
Every time I've accepted friend requests, I've lost the following match where a new "friend" fed.
Soloq was fun. Losing with a pre-made of strangers isn't fun.
