Better Teammates In Bronze V

I'm slowly starting to move up the illustrious ranks of Bronze and I've began to notice something: I had better players on my team when I was being matched as Bronze V.

While Bronze V I was consistently matched with others (Bronze 5/4) who had a decent number of ranked games under their belt with typically 45-55% win rate. As I climb the ranks of Bronze, I find I'm being matched with a ton of "unranked" which are sinking down the ladder like rocks. Or worse yet, I'm placed with players who I assume just lucked into Silver during placements and are now sitting in Silver V being matched with Bronze III-I and consistently being the worst players in the game.

I'm not crying "Elo Hell", I've been moving up pretty quickly lately as I've started playing with a different approach than in the past knock on wood. I also know that, being Bronze, I'm the scum of League and no one cares what I think. That being said, I can only imagine things actually get worse in Silver for the same reasons.

Maybe a solution would be only matching players with others who are within a certain percentage of games played. Even if it's a large percentage like 60%.

If you are at the bronze skill level then yea, bronze is pretty shitty as you climb because you get the new people that are on their way down. If you are an experienced player smurfing in bronze then those games are the absolutely most fun because you can literally run around the map just stomping everyone to the point of not needing a single one of your team mates to contribute at all, you pretty much feel like a God. Silver is about the same. Gold I think is easier to climb if you are Gold skill level just because the games are more consistent, but it is still an elo that is ridiculously easy to 1v5 stomp if you have experience and just smurfing. Low Plat feels basically the same as Gold and then by mid Plat you have people that are starting to understand how to play the game properly.

The thing about silver is the skill level of the players are inconsistent.

You got that guy who is in his placements who should be gold guy who is in his placements who should be silver guy who is in his placements who should be bronze guy who is in his placements who is actually a smurf guy who is in his placements who played bots and aram and really shouldn't play ranked. guy who got placed too high (I was once that guy) and is sinking like you said. guy who got placed too low guy who climbed from bronze guy who fell from gold guy who is playing for fun that tilted dude autofilled guy who can't play anything else, whatsoever. autofilled guy who can't play anything else, whatsoever playing against the guy who is in his placements who should be gold autofilled guy who can't play anything else, whatsoever playing against guy who is in his placements who is actually a smurf

i think u get the point

Atleast in bronze, you know they're bronze. No surprises (usually)

I don't, when I was placed into B5, I once faced a AP Malz top with Warlords Bloodlust. He was shit too.

Our Lucian didn't wanna lane with the Cho support because of some biased something, so he went mid. He ended up baiting the enemy Akali, he died but our Ahri or something killed the Akali for it.
