It's because it's incredibly easy to do well as Sona on ARAM. The average Sona player does well. Not as well as you did, but well enough that your performance was not far enough above the average to merit an S.
Aurelion Sol's stats are completely meaningless when wondering about your grade on Sona; the two aren't related in the slightest. You're compared to other Sona players only.
He has more gold and more minions than you and let me explain why this matters.
Your prorated grade isn't just based off of kills and assists and etc... they take into consideration team engagement, if you destroyed any towers, if your stats leveled off, etc... there is an in depth calculator and I think the better I judgement for your grades would be referring to the stats section of post matches.

Your CS is really low, even by ARAM standards. Aurelion Sol's was not. It is very hard to get S's in ARAM without great CS.
Well mostly i stayed back and healed my allies , kept them alive ,for a support score the cs wouldn't matter that much but it seems i need 100 cs on aram for an s score when i mostly get tanks and a random ranged support.
