Adding more power to late game Darius without changing him much

Would be cool if the recast time when killing a target go up depending on how much cdr you have. Exemple: ACTIVE: Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a devastating blow, dealing true damage. For each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, Noxian Guillotine deals an additional 20% damage.

When Noxian Guillotine kills the target, it can be recast within the next 10/15/20 + 1 second per % cooldown reduction you have . This can occur multiple times in succession.

that way we keep Darius as is early but make his late more like it used to be.

Thought? pls no hate in comment

I thought about something like this:

If Noxian Guillotinne kills the target, it's cooldown is refreshed. This ability can't be used on a last champion it killed for a time equal to 100/50/0% of its cooldown.

How does it exactly work? -Darius' level 1 ultimate has a 120 second cooldown. He uses it to kill his lane opponent and it resets - but he can't cast it on said opponent for 120 seconds. In other words, it will be available to use on other people. -Only 1 target can be marked at the time - the last person killed. So he kills his lane opponent and marks him for 120 seconds. Dragon fight erupts, he TP's down and gets a kill on their ADC. Now ADC is marked and he can use his ultimate to kill his lane opponent again.

What does it mean? At level 6 Darius can dunk his lane opponent and will have his ultimate for skirmishes, dragon fights or an enemy jungle gank. But he can't dunk his lane opponent again until the normal ability cooldown runs out.

At level 11 it's similiar as level 6, only he can dunk his last target much sooner.

At level 16 he gets his full reset back.

Purpose of these changes is to give him most of his reset power back while still removing the problem of murdering your opponent every time he shows his face in the lane.

And yes, Darius should be able to completely murder someone. Reliably and often if he gets into range. We could use more immobile champions seeing play.

that means if darius got max cdr he could wait a whole minute and still have the 2nd cast

and that means if the minute runs out his ult is on a lower cooldown darius is fine as is

im sorry if he isn't your freelo anymore

It'd help let him get picks later on and still be able to fight, but be less oppressive in lane

I can dig it

if u nerf his ultimate damage early im all in. I hate how Darius has a absolute kill at lvl 6 no matter how hard you out play him.

Adding damage to a champion that's meant to be an early game lane bully? That's not breaking the barriers or anything. NOOOO let's give Darius more damage guys.

Darius is a champion design failure. I'm sorry but this suggestion would do absolutely nothing to fix him. Who cares if his ultimate has 100% uptime like before, it doesn't change the fact that he has zero defensive steroids, mobility, or any sort of sticking power mid to late game. He's extremely easy to peel off and kill late game. I don't know how a Darius would stick to a backline champion long enough to get five stacks for his ultimate. His ultimate damage is laughable late game for the effort of five stacks because of GA, Banshee's, heals, shields, and peel.

It's better to leave this champion alone until some day Riot decides to rework him. You'd only play him to make laning phase hell for some enemy melee top laner and then end up getting camped to uselessness by enemy J4/Vi.

How about we talk about Garen instead? Who falls off way harder and doesn't have a team killing true damage ultimate? The whole reason they nerfed Darius' reset is because it was broken, now you want to make it broken again
