Can we raise the ping limit or eliminate it??

I just played a game with a Vayne who I had recently pinged to attack the opposing Volibear. I then saw the opposing Ahri walking down to help Voli. I attempt to ping for Vayne to back off, but can't because 'I have reached my ping limit' . I understand wanting to cut back on trolls that just ping constantly, but in my opinion, when you are playing with a bunch of random people, pings are essential.
