It is so sad to see this game go down hill because of the community...

The last two games I have had really toxic people working their hardest to ruin games for everyone. The first game there was a support Bard that would complain that we weren't grouping and then saying "gg" when someone would die. (We ended up winning that game btw) The second game, there was a Thresh that did nothing but complain about me not ganking them enough. Then he went on to complain that we weren't surrendering and that he wouldn't help our team anymore. I love this game, but because of this community I'm really afraid this League as a whole will not last much longer...Can we all just agree to be a bit more adult-like and try to be positive? I'm tired of losing and feeling like crap because one or two people in a game don't care.

If Riot focused more on punishing Intentional Feeders/trolls, the community would be at a healthier state. The people who are getting punished are the ones who are frustrated with feeders/afkers/trolls...

Players have absolute control over verbal toxicity. There is a mute option so that Players can opt out of chat. Players, however, cannot control other player's actions.

Trolls are taking advantage with the automated report system. They are getting away Scott free while frustrated players who try their hardest to win get banned...

(i.e. Trolls holding players hostage in champ select. There's no punishment for it because innocent players are forced to dodge losing lp and unable to report. Trolls are able to continue the malicious behavior until they get their preferred role. While the dodger loses lp and gets locked out of queing for a match.)

Once Riot figures this out, the community will be at a better state.

Too be honest when get frustrated at my team I usually just say "I'm done" followed by me afk farming for a minute or two to cool down then I rejoin my team and try to guide them along. It's my way of venting so as not cause a total meltdown on an already precarious situation.

The community has always been awful, how could it be going downhill?

Two games with toxic people =/= entire game with over 100 million worldwide users is going downhill.
