Champion Select Issues!

My friend and I were in champion select. Everything was going normal, but then suddenly the timers would stop at 0 for several seconds. Then it told us that three of our teammates had left the game. The timer commenced to sit at 0 so we were basically forced to leave the game and wait through a low priority queue timer. Has anyone else had this issue?? I'm not concerned with it in norms, but I don't want it happening in ranked please!!
