With the new runes coming, can we make rune pages cheaper?

Currently the only reason people buy rune pages for so much IP is because they aren't editable in champ select. You only get the stats you have. However, the new system lets you edit in champ select, which kind of nullifies the purpose of buying pages. So really, it almost feels like there is no point to playing so many games just to get a single rune page for 6300 BE in order to overcome a minor inconvenience. It would make more sense to make these 3150 BE or less, given the lack of a pure need to get these things.
