Ok so before anyone calls me Dirt V for this article let me just mention in 5.2 they just made it so her bonus from spears and what not that stack up to three times has been made to work on neutral monsters now: Anyone try this out in jungle? If so does it work?

It works. Nice pick if you're going for a poke comp.

Her jungle is meh.

I played it yesterday and did pretty good. You don't take that much damage if you clear correctly, and her ganks are average.

Honestly I love Nidalee jungle and have played it several times even before 5.2, her biggest weaknesses are her lack of cc for ganks and her TERRIBLE early clear. Generally I didn't even make it to both buffs with her.

But, that said she has a very high mobility for a jungler because of all the walls she can jump over, and as long as she can land her spear she has a huge gap-closer and basically guarantees a kill or forces them to burn a Summoner's. Once she gets past her weakness super early, she gets decent clear and becomes very effective constantly roaming around the map. As for her lack of cc, you can now grab a Stalker's Blade, which synergizes very well with her passive (gains movement speed towards enemy champions) especially since now it is a movement speed steal. The new change allowing her to hunt monsters makes her more than viable in the jungle, I haven't played her yet after the patch but I think the increased jump range from hunt on monsters will greatly increase her opportunities to clear walls and get around quickly.

I think the most upsetting thing about the new change is that now I might see other Nidalee jungles where before no one else played it haha.
