Can We Stop Acting Shocked

Can We as a community, stop acting shocked, when we let our laners function as second junglers, that our team loses?

Im so sick of getting crap because after 9 pantheon ult and TP plays in four minutes (HYPERBOLE), my kda isn't great. Four people have the ability to turret dive at a very early stage in the game and this doesn't go away. They don't even need minions if they do it right. So when you notice that your lane is bot lane -AGAIN-, do not flame bot laning for dying because you can't control your laner.

There are wards. Wards do not stop turret dives. You, doing literally anything besides sit mid or top with your thumb so far up your rear end you're giving dinner a handshake, is going to be the -only- thing that saves them.

"Omg, this bot lane so bad, they can't 2v4." Push a wave, get a turret. Roam behind, be useful. Roam to a different lane, put pressure on the map. Coordinate, get an objective.

Or, you could sit at your turret and do literally nothing because "strategy doesn't matter, its only [Literally every elo in the game here].

This happens every early season for the bot lane meta. People five man gank bot ten trillion times and people whine that its 'the best adc' who wins. No, its the team that doesn't allow themselves to be out-rotated in literally every stage of the game that wins. It's the team that actually coordinates with their allies to make group plays and counter-group plays that wins. It's the team that focuses objectives, gets turrets, and applies global pressure that wins.

Especially with games so snowball heavy right now, you coming together to STOP that five man gank bot lane could snowball the game in your favor. You following your laner top/mid to counter-gank and get some kills back could snowball in your favor. Not even Sneakie and Smoothie survive five man turret ganks bot lane alot of the time. There are just too many spells, too many health bars, and too little CC for that many people. If they see it coming, they can pull back, but its a garuntee lost turret. They have to rely on Impact and Contracts getting rift, or top turret on the backside, or TP ganking behind bot lane to assit. They have to rely on Jenson to follow down to counter-gank and get the turret, or take out the mid lane turret. Stop flaming bot lane, and DO something.

That is probably my only complaint about being adc (save a true troll supp). Sometimes I can't outrun a gank against the mids zed who just casually strolls down.

It's a good play on the enemy so I won't hold it against them, and I'm not really mad at the mid or top for not having map awareness cause there is always margin for error. But I can't stand when they flame anyone for being on the struggle bus for their lanes coming down.

tbh I just don't like flame anyways. It's a waste of valuable time to type useless things.

It is a good play. I've been running into plenty of well-coordinated teams that make me question whether or not I didn't accidentally que up solo in flex. What frustrates me, is there never seems to be a response from anyone. On the rare occasion that I play mid (i'm a fill main, aka support and jg main), I am hyper focused on not allowing my opponent to run wild on the enemy team. Deep wards, pinks, follows, pings, and counter-ganks. If they do get a roam off and i'm too far behind on the play to help, I shove in hard to get the turret, or i'll go top lane. So many people have this mentality of 'not in my lane, not my problem' in solo que and it costs matches.

Yup. Negativity and lack of flexibility are what lose the vast majority of matches.

I agree but i see adcs in game and on the boards complain far more about that top laner to got ganked and the hyper carry they were facing Riven Darius Nasus YasuoFizz now is unstoppable even with them sitting under the tower. or for mid Fizz thats all ill give ya. same for bot Lux

If I could just quantify this problem I would say that people who complain or flame no matter what the role are ultimately the downfall of the whole team.

Sometimes, a team is just plain better than you are. Most of the time, it's someone who wants to be a badass and not a teammate.

You kidding? The best feeling in the world is to deep ward, thus see the enemy mid/toplaner/jungler coming from a mile away, and just sit there knowing there's no time to back, they can turret dive you, kill you, and walk away without dying, and that no one is ever going to come help you. Amazing feeling.

..../s if that wasn't clear.

I'm okay with bot feeding early after 5 man dives

I'm not okay with the ADCs proceeding to still do terribly after laning phase despite having the best gold efficiency in the game, as well as CC supports who maintain the same level of effectiveness regardless of gold.

Because when I choose to respond to aggressive roaming with shoving, deep warding, going top and counterjungling, bot should be able to capitalize on the 1/4/7 Katarina who's 90 CS behind because she got her kills and assists purely from sacrificing CS and roaming the moment the ADC reaches their item powerspike.

Instead the ADC reaches two items, continue feeding and AFK bot lane letting whoever make a 2v1 pick against them.

I get what you're saying if laners sit under turret doing nothing, but bot lane complains every time the laners pick anything but following a roam, whether it be pushing a tower or coordinating another objective as you said.

Yeah so what? Good gold effiency is not gonna make an ADC who is behind in xp and gold not get one shot just as fast. If the enemy has a hyper tank, that ADC will still get rolled over until he has qss+last whisper. After a 5 man dive, you are guaranteed to lose the turret and after that either you stay in lane trying to scrap whatever gold you can and you will still get 4 man ganked just because it's that easy. Or the enemy botlane can just swap and screw the other side of the map and you go top as well and lose the 2v2/2v3 because the enemy jungler can just gank you again to take the top turret too and rift herald. Playing ADC from behind is loads of fun, try it. /s

CC supports who maintain the same level of effectiveness regardless of gold.

Their spells still are useful, of course, but when you fall behind as support, you fall behind in xp even more than other champions. Not to mention you will be squishy as fuck.

Instead the ADC reaches two items, continue feeding and AFK bot lane letting whoever make a 2v1 pick against them.

Going mid and sharing xp and gold with the midlaner is not better. If people are not open to swaps there is literally nothing that the ADC can do other than scrap cs from botlane.

You capitalized and took the turret, good. I can't count how many times my midlane either backs or ends up taking the turret at the third roam and STILL keeps afk pushing midlane instead of going out there to try making plays himself.

Bruh what?

What the heck is a marksman any champion that's down 2-3 kills and who knows how much CS supposed to do against an opponent that is currently snowballing? League does not work like that, never did since season 3 at least.

And supports don't "maintain the same level of effectiveness" when behind, if you think otherwise you´d be so far down the deep end even nautilus could not find you.

Supports with items are at least 3 times strong than a support without.

This is a extremely narrow example, and if that enemy kata got so many assist then chances are enemy botlane has a lot of kills instead, that means your botlane is utterly boned, regardless of katarina's status, and so by extension, your team's frontline is thus also completely boned.

All because you let katarina roam around and give her team a lead.

Instead the ADC reaches two items, continue feeding and AFK bot lane letting whoever make a 2v1 pick against them.

Yeah, because by the time the bashed marksman that has been ganked 3-4 times hits 2 items the enemy marksman will be anywhere around 3-5 items, and enemy support will have 2-3 while your own will have 1.

Being more gold efficient or not needing gold as much as other classes won't do shit when the guys coming over to take their asses are from the same class and miles ahead in power.

I get what you're saying if laners sit under turret doing nothing, but bot lane complains every time the laners pick anything but following a roam, whether it be pushing a tower or coordinating another objective as you said.

And this is kinda false too, pro marksmen players never complain as long as their teams do anything aside from just sit under turret farming, most marksman mains also follow the same idea.

Alright, your midlane roamed off and got enemy botlane 2 kills and 2 assist for themselves, but you took down or almost took the enemy midlane tower in exchange, that is alright.

Your midlane ran off and you did naught but sit under turret or did like 400 damage to the tower? At this point your choices become questionable, because now you have essentially ensure that despite getting nothing in return your team now needs 3 people to shut down 2 enemy players and that your botlane doesn't stand a chance without help.

Naturally, people will be frustrated if that happens, and midlaners also ping like mad if enemy support roams up and their own team just slowly farms a wave.

But to be fair, if playing a mage like say anivia or etc, it's really hard to actually follow an assassin like fizz, zed or such, so then prematurely writing that you won't be able to follow if they roam and then pinging SS the moment they disappear is the right thing to do.

We are doing something. We complain on the Boards every single day.

Not much else we can do, the meta is bullshit. Flaming is still wrong ofc.

Iffy Jarl2 votes

Well according to the boards the turrets are paper mache so u should have 2 turrets of a 5 man dive

You can't follow when the minions are auto pushing into you, or if you do follow be prepared to lose another turret because minions do more damage to turrets now. To stop your bot lane from dying (read: no gain whatsoever) you have to sacrifice an entire turret.

In a way it's balanced cus towers are so weak, any team can dive...
