Punished for winning games, punished for losing games, punished for voicing opinions. Win a game, matchmaking gives you apes next game. Lose games because of this, demote in ranked play. NO matter how you preform, win and lose is only thing that matters to MMR, cant keep it up when you lose because matchmaking gives you people 4 tiers below you. Even Faker has complained and called it out on its bullshit. Why even play the game. I'm done, this game is done. It is just not fun anymore, it will never be fun. All you see anymore is everybody running the same runes, same 20-25 champs out of the 100+ to choose from. Same strategys, same attitudes. Nothing can fix this game at this point, they ruin it constantly, buffing what doesn't need to.

Why would you stop playing ? they're releasing more skins for your edgy champion so you can feel good while building the same items every single game because you have to get these flashy oneshots ! Does it really matter that 90% of games are decided not by individual decisionmaking or mechanics but simply by picks ? You're being picky and annoying, let people have fun ! let them build whatever( item 3147 / item 3095 / item 3071 ) items they want for their assassin/bruiser (or Zoe for that matter) champion and whatever runes they want (electrocute EDIT: And conqueror ofc) coupled with any viable spell ( summoner 14 summoner 4 ) and cheese you over and over to win ! isn't that the sole purpose of the game ?

i feel the same way about matchmaking in normal games i can tell people dont wana play ranked because of the influx of higher rated players in my games. i duo with a bronze 3 and im silver 1 and we constantly get matched vs plat and low diamond players and we cant compete. games arent unwinnable but its not fun to get rammed in the ass every game

Honestly if Riot had just done more QoL shit over the random ass changes they've made over the years after season 5,

People would have been a shit ton more positive about the game.

People now-a-days either hate the game or hate the people they play with.

They keep reworking champions, and our thousand of hours invested get lost forever. They remove the ability to play with custom sounds, to fuck the comunity even more. The only solution I see to this game is to go back to S4-S5 and start all over again.

Why even play anymore? Because it's still fun for me. If you're a ranked player, give yourself a break, and go play some normals or arams, they're relaxing. Ranked will always be spammed with the best champions, because people play it for win. No matter how Riot will buff and nerf people, FotM champions will still exist, and dominate rankeds.

Game as a core is still really fun for me (unless im laning vs a teemo as a melee ;_;). Winning is fun. But losing with giving your all is fun too! Improving is fun, picking new things is fun, creating new strategies is fun. I recommend you OP, instead of spamming rankeds only (idk if you're doing that) mix them with normals, and test things on normals, try to do something fresh, just have fun!

IMHO they need to revert the game back to S5. Game can't be fixed at this point.

It's normal to quit a game if you don't enjoy it. So answer that question for yourself. It's also normal to not post a public declaration whenever you quit a game or return...

I often stop playing League to play something that is more interesting at that moment, but I can always return and I don't share your opinion.

I think you should have taken a break long ago instead of building up this toxic relationship to the game and all this negativity. it gets to the point where even if the game was good, you wouldn't notice it, because negativity destroys everything.

Well at least you are not alone, that's for sure.

So stop playing ranked? Play normals and go Garen mid and think 'wait, why am I doing this?' then realize 'oh wait, it's normals, I can do whatever the fuck I want'. Then there are people who flame you in norms for feeding. Say 'this is norms, chill'. Everything will be fine. Playing with friends makes LoL fun. Try it

I disagree here even challengers get bad teammates though . Its only because damage is so high that your bad teammates cause a snowball. I think nerfing damage would fix a great deal of problems.

welp MMR system had to go a long time ago. If u go on a loss streak and from 25-20 lp gains on win u start to gain 10 - 18 LP how are u supposed to climb if u get unfortunate enough to lose a few games theres almost no way back into your previous mmr because u are going to be placed with lower tier players this system is the core to the game's problems that can cause toxicity inting and all kinds of trolling. after the system beats u down u cant get back up and u stop give a shit anymore and u start to act like pre-reform tyler.

It's a little odd you bring up how matchmaking gives you people 4 tiers for you. But, coincidentally, it just so happens that this would imply the enemy team suffers from the same issue because the game itself doesn't revolve around YOUR MMR in particular. Why is it that YOU complain about matchmaking, when the enemy team deals with the same matchmaking algorithm? It's a matter of perspective.

You can perform at your best, and others at their worst, but winning and losing is what determines rank in every single game whether you like it or not...and that's the reality of it. The way riot sees it is "You aren't fit to climb because you weren't able to carry your team", because the assumption is: "If I'm fed and my team is underperforming, then I should be able to use my lead to get my team ahead". You don't have to agree with the logistics here, but a lot of pros play on smurf accounts, which means that they're bound to be playing with an under performing team, yet somehow they still manage to carry the game.

With the way you feed, you're the problem for OTHER PEOPLE that would quit for the reasons you stated here. Like...you're the feeding ape you're referencing in someone else's eyes when you go 0/5/4 or 4/9/4 on scaling carries. Your last 20 games are absolute feeding frenzies. What the hell is Riot to blame for here?

Side note: You're also the lowest or one of the lowest ranked people on your team in a lot of the games you lost, so there's nothing about match-making giving you people "4 tiers under you". You just feed too much.

TBH I stopped enjoying this game after I was permabanned for constantly calling out trolls, harassers and obviously bad gameplay. Note, those aren't exuses because I did so in a pretty toxic manner, but just making the statement that every instance had a fairly justifiable reason.

The reason I don't enjoy playing is because I don't have all my favorite champs, my favorite skins in a game where skins cost something up to $20 or so, my emotes, ward skins, chromas, etc. Hours to days to weeks of gameplay gathered over the course of years since season 3 up to season 7. Losing all that accumulated progress and time takes a lot out of me, and just thinking that I'll be playing without everything I gained just drains my motivation to continue playing.

Maybe I'll be able to enjoy it some other time.

Yesterday I had my first ever placement with my smurf account and I was placed with Plat/Gold players. Imagine I was a really newbie to the game, that would have kinda ruined their experience just a liiiiittle...

I remember back in Season 1-2 (even 3-4 but 1-2 were my faves). You can play what you want where you want, no criticism, no spoilt brat running it down mid, have a laugh, co-operate and PLAY the game. If Riot can just go back to their roots. Sigh.

Uhhh, I moved 3000 miles away for work after college. Me and my friends aren't the types to call eachother up to just talk. So League (with comms) is a good way for me to be able to "Hang Out" with my friends. I haven't played alone in years (aside from maybe playing an aram while I wait for them to finish a game if I got on late)

For that reason, doesn't matter much to me what is going on with the Meta. I play because I have fun with my friends.

That being said, If my friends quit, so would I.

I have no idea what you guys are on about... I've been playing league for a long time (even tho i'm only diamond in eune worst region apparently) I have fun just playing stupid things like Nunu with predator and one shotting with a snowball. I had the same problem with league as you do... I only spammed rankeds played meta champs but when i got to diamond i just got bored of spending so much time that i invested some of it into normals and when i found out how bad actually players were i played games on games and just trying the stupidest things like ad TwistedFate on mid and actually beat Yasuo . At this moment i'm enjoying this game even tho i'm in ''the worst region'' but i find it enjoying.

IDK, I pretty much only played ranked at gold 4, have plats in a lot of my games, on my team and the opposing team, depending on the game, and most of the time I beat the or do better than them anyway. I have no problems at all. Maybe the rest of you just aren't very good. I enjoy a challenge.

Do I win every game? No. But I have a positive win rate, so I am climbing. How about you all try to improve, by learning something from every game you play, and stop coming on here complaining about, in so many words, being crappy at the game.

I only play because I have certain attachments to champions that got me to love league in the first place.

Lux was the champ that I spent most of my time on when I first started. Learning her combos and just fell in love with her playstyle. I still do today.

Karma I love her thematic (although the kit doesn't do it justice). This was around the time I was getting into ranked and I always loved the idea of supporting, and when I found out she was top tier I learned her and she's the champion that I have the most mastery points on it. Always has a special place.

Leauge as a whole is in it's worst state that it has been in my opinion. So while it's still here, I want to spend time playing the characters I love.
