Never been so discouraged to play this game

Hey.. I know some have the same feelings as me, but from S4 - S7, I think S7 is the most discouraging season for me. From all of these 'lifeline' masteries that Riot has created (Courage of Colossus) that stack with champions that already have a shield ability, to redemption.. To consistent item nerfs/buffs to try and balance champions which never balances them, just makes 1 champ super op, then out of meta the next patch. To the horrible ranked placements such as I going from Plat 3 to Gold 5. I'm not very good at the game, it took me about 1000 ranked games to get from Silver 5 to Plat 2-3ish. Now I wanted to try and improve and go higher, but I feel as if with the low placement from what I was its really going to be the same struggle to MAYBE get to Diamond. I'm sure other people have also been placed a division lower+.. I have D5 friends who were placed Plat 1-2.. and I'm sorry, Plat 1-2 climb to D5 is a lot easier than G5 climb to P3. I really feel like the game is on the downhill personally.
