Tip #1 Ganking!
These are STRAIGHT forward, very OBVIOUS tips... but I feel that they NEED to be pointed out:
-
Shove the lane and gain some map pressure. Simply walking out of vision puts a LOT of pressure on the enemy team. You don't even have to go anywhere. Just sit in the bush till wave is shoving to your tower. Trust me, it's worth it.
-
If the enemy laner is someone with tons of mobility and escape potential and your laner has no cc and you have no cc, don't bother (most times)
-
If you want to gank and the enemy laner has huge safety nets (zed, ahri, fizz), ask your laner to try and blow it while standing close by. Then go in. If your laner is too simple to do such a task or has a champ that could be instantly obliterated doing so, then avoid the situation/lane
-
Preemptive decision making -- what this means is if you know the enemy laner hasn't warded, have your laner try to force them to a certain side to walk. This can be easily done by having them diagonally proportionate to the side you want them to go on. Some people move, others don't. Always worth a try. (especially good for mid lane where having a laner that can have them move where they want them to is a great idea!)
-
Baits. Have your laner bait them into you. This way is much harder and requires calculating to the T. Would not recommend unless you have a trustworthy duo!
-
Blue buff baits. You know that pesky mid is going for blue buff soon. Stand in a position to where both you and your laner can cut them off. This requires your mid missing out on that wave that's being pushed in, but it's for the greater good!
-
The support + jg combo. Listen up you whiny adc mains. If you're losing lane already or it's a stalemate, let your support IMPACT the map. ENCOURAGE them to do so and LEARN to play SAFE. Supports CAN carry, but not always if they always have to BABYSIT the younger brother. Let uncle and the middle sibling have some loving too. Everyone wants mama's attention.
These are simple, general tips for ALL ganking purposes. Not only jungle, but ALL lanes can roam. Some lanes can even roam with the jungler to raise that KP(kill potential). I encourage lanes, after a successful jg gank, to ROAM to another lane if your life allows it. A lot of times, people take those ganks and do absolutely nothing with it. Your jungler being in the same area as you, with no contestants in that area is HUGE. Use that time to WARD the enemy jg, TAKE their camps and if they're there, TAKE their lives. Don't fumble about, take action.
